 Worked with partner to develop, patent and implement suite of affiliate marketing tools designed to make affiliate marketing easily accessible to consumers.  Launched successful limited-beta of product in early summer 2008 with scheduled mainstream release in 2009.  Used Zend model-view-controller framework with PHP and MySQL on the server.  Used XHTML, Smarty, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery) and Flash on the client.

 Managed multiple teams of developers and testers to design, implement, and test features within the Microsoft Office Web applications; listed as co-inventor on patents for three (3) new features.  Designed UI and server features for Microsoft Office OneNote Live and coordinated client and server performance evaluation and improvement.  Received selective Gold Star achievement award and was promoted after first year; was designated a toptier performer and promoted again after second year.

Service Manager Intern | Microsoft | Redmond, WA | 2005

 Planned, researched, and collaborated cross-group to create the specification for a new worldwide service outage notification system for Microsoft.  Developed a framework for measuring products with high volumes of support requests as well as solutions for decreasing the volumes and financial costs.  Readied the Rights Management Service for the release of Longhorn Server Beta 2 and created a deployment package to allow for the installation of the RMS client under Vista Least User Access.

Web Developer | RIT Center for Campus Life | Rochester, NY | 2005

 Worked with team of developers to build photo gallery, meeting room scheduler, web bookmarker, and other features for internal and external campus life websites.  Used model-view-controller architecture with PHP and MySQL on the server.  Used XHTML, CSS and JavaScript on the client.

 Designed and built online course evaluation system for online learning and long distance students.  Used model-view-controller architecture with ColdFusion and MSSQL on the server.  Used XHTML, CSS and JavaScript on the client.

ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH EXPERIENCE Research Assistant, Web Development | University of Maryland, College Park | 2009  Created tools to screen scrape Supreme Court documents from online databases and import them via PHP into a MySQL database for analysis.  Used PHP and MySQL on the server.  Used XHTML, CSS and JavaScript (Chickenfoot scripting plug-in) on the client side.

Sign Language Instructor | RIT No Voice Zone | 2003 – 2004  Developed a curriculum for informally teaching American Sign Language with a small group of other resident advisors.  Taught ongoing, weekly classes on sign language for RIT students.
