What Is The Significance Of Christ Entering Jerusalem On A Beast Walking On The Branches Of Palm Trees? T____ wrote, I just finished listening to the audio series on the color green! Thank you for all your efforts, and everyone else involved in producing what I consider the spiritual meal which only by God's grace I've been able to come to receive and except. What a blessing! I have to say one of the most encouraging moments I have recently experienced was when you mentioned that the trials that we face beyond the Jordan, the giants in the land are meat for us, set there to show us how God can make his strength perfect through us; it is indeed nourishment critical for our spiritual growth. I have a couple of quick questions for you. The first is not really a question more of an insight sparked by the green series. Could we say that Christ coming into the city gates on a mule, trampling over the ponds of fronds represents the green elect who have been poured out for the service of our Lord; as you have discussed, the elect are the pillars and the palm in the temple, I think there must be a correlation here. As well when something is crushed under foot and an animal such as a stubborn mule is being controlled by Christ it doesn't seem to be such a stretch to say Christ is not only showing his triumphant entry of Himself so much as He is showing us another prophecy and parable of how he will rule over the beast and all the green one day! The other thing which comes to mind is the prophecy in Genesis about the heel being bruised. My other question really is a question about the Dragon in Revelation, which is Satan, and the serpent who is cursed in the garden. Is there something to be learned from the fact that Christ says to him 'cursed will you be', because would this not indicate that prior to his saying he was cursed, he was not cursed? Or perhaps Christ was basically saying 'this is your job title Satan you're going to eat dust, which represents man and you're going to do it well as long as I need you to!' I was wondering if perhaps Satan was a dragon who was cursed and became a serpent which crawls on the earth, only later to get his legs back for some reason in the book of Revelation if only figuratively when he is called a Dragon again, remembering that just as Christ can be represented figuratively as a lamb so Satan can be represented as a dragon, or a lamb or a serpent as well, which makes me wonder what was his actual form, rather is his actual form, and can we say for sure that it is that of a serpent? Keeping a pattern of sound words is what I'm trying to do, however I'm having a hard time seeing the meaning of these pattern of events which I've just alluded to from the book of Genesis

and Revelation. Perhaps you could shed some light on this when you have a chance! God bless, and thank you for the latest series. It was great to hear you mention the brethren from other areas of the world, and also to see that you understand there are those who are very alone in this walk. God has helped me with the loneliness I struggle with, I just hope I can be blessed one day to have others around me who are of the same mind, until then I can't thank God enough for you and all of the family I hear on the audio and video. I really consider you family even though I've never met you. Your brother from Canada, T____ Hi T____, Thank you for sharing your spiritual insights with me. I feel like I am the one being blessed everyday to be receiving letters like yours which help me to see just a little deeper into the mind of God and Christ. I am especially encouraged that you feel that you are part of our family. All who are of the mind of Christ truly are in the same family. Yes, just as the harlot controls the beast on which she sits, Christ rules and controls the beast on which He sits. And yes, He enters into Jerusalem upon the branches of palm trees in the same way as he sits upon and rules the beast. They are all "under His feet." Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him [to be] the head over all [things] to the church, Heb 2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. It is all leading to the time when we will see all things put under Him in fullness. As for who is the dragon, or is the serpent the same as the dragon, there can be no doubt? Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan , which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan , and bound him a thousand years, Exactly what form the serpent took makes no difference so far as what he foreshadows. Whether he is called a serpent, a dragon, the devil or Satan, he is the Adversary needed to do the work he has been given to withstand Christ and His christ.

Thank you for what you said about my recognition of other brothers from all around the world. I will make more of an effort to acknowledge those who are out there on their own. It is a blessing and an honor to be associated with such dedicated and sincere people. Mike
