Born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and raised in Andersonville, Tennessee. Whitney graduated from Anderson County High School in May 2005. While in high school, she was involved in band, show choir, drama club, dance team, and the National Honor Society. Whitney was then accepted into the University of Tennessee where she first started studying business. She felt that her major lacked any interest for her and decided to change her major to Nutrition. She was very pleased with the decision she made in changing her major. While in college, Whitney has been involved in Women’s Chorus, Gamma Sigma Sigma Service Sorority, Undergraduate Nutrition Student Association, Clinic Vols, and she is the treasurer for the Kappa Omicron Nu Honor Society. Whitney is now a senior and will be graduating in May 2010 with a B.S. in Nutrition and a minor in Child and Family Studies.
