BACKGROUND He was born in August 23, 1978, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S His father named Joe Bryant who was a professional basketball player playing for NBA. Brian receive several national Player of the Year awards in his high school years. He later declared himself suitable for NBA draft. He was traded to the Lakers shortly after and became the second youngest NBA player in history when the 1996–97 season opened.

WHERE HE IS NOW Kobe Bryant is now a retired Los Angeles Lakers star who has recently won an Oscar earlier this year (2018) along with director Glen Keane for the animated short film “Dear Basketball.” Bryant was recommended for membership by the short films and feature animation branch, he did not make the final cut, The Times has confirmed, due to his lack of a larger body of work in the film industry.

DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP DEVELOPED OVER TIME He use to be an autocratic leader because he was aggressive with in his games and also aggressive towards the fans and media. He was not open to suggestions until he changes for the better. Over the years he’s softened his approach towards media, fans and critics. That’s because he’s at peace with who he is and his priorities have shifted to his family. Never has there been an athlete so polarizing from the start transform into a truly likable individual over time. He Is now considered a democratic leader during to his improvement.

THE EXPERIENCE AND OTHERS ASSISTED HIM IN BECOMING A SUCCESSFUL LEADER

- Kobe’s best years individually came while the Lakers were down and before the 2006–07 NBA Season he changed his number to #24. - Before he became a leader, he didn't become a leader for the benefit of others, he became a leader for his personal reasons , Why he’s adored so greatly in China is because of his work ethic. Although selfish at times, you can never fault him for not trying. He played every game like it was his last - Although he has been through a lot of injuries for example his knee and arm injury he came back strong an better every time. NO injury could prevent him from becoming one of the well known basketball player
