To ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Respected This is to bring to your notice that NIIT will be conducting the “ 17th Bhavishya Jyoti” Scholarship exam for college students on 16th September 2007 Nationally. The Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarship will encourage promising students from various fields to build successful careers in IT. It’s a head start Pursuing dream careers, just like it has been for lakhs of students over the last 17 years. With IT companies billing over $ 47 billion in revenues for the last fiscal year, an unprecedented number of jobs have come up in every field- Banking, Insurance Networking, Retail, Telecom, Manufacturing, Transportation and IT-enabled services, to name a few. NIIT would like to invite the students of your esteemed institution to avail these scholarships based on the criteria mentioned in the information bulletin enclosed. Currently, there are 1.6 million Knowledge professionals and more than 3 million indirect employment from IT-ITES of this, half of last year’s total recruits were freshers. NIIT creates more than 26,000 openings for its students annually, with over 3,000 companies recruiting from NIIT. In addition to this, experts continue to forecast a steady rise in recruitments at the mid and entry levels, over the next six years. Scholarship Details: Merit-based scholarship of upto Rs.35, 000 based on Std. XII marks and performance in the Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarship Test and Personal Interview. Scholarships on the Industry –Endorsed GNIIT Program, ANIIT Program for Engineers and New Technology Programs in the areas of Software Engineering, Database Management and Networking.
