BITS Pilani Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS Pilani) is one of the top institutes in India. Favouring a ‘Merit Only’ based admission policy, it has constantly ranked first amongst all private engineering colleges of India. BITS has the feature of Practice School which provides a hands on-practical experience for the students. The BITS education system believes in honing the skills of an individual in the field in which one is interested and therefore has many clubs like Team Robocon, the Wall street club, the Society of Automotive Engineers , etc.

Who are we ? Embryo was stared by a group o f B I T S P i l a n i g ra d u a t e s i n Silicon Valley in 2006 with three main objectives - education , research , exposure. Since then there’s been no stopping in our mission to create borderless classrooms. We are a group of students who aim to connect BITS to rest of the world.

What do we do ? We conduct online and live interactive lectures on a plethora of topics ranging from entrepreneurship, astronomy, social issues, technical topics. Our speakers are from all over the globe.

Apogee Apogee , the ISO 9001:2008 certified technical fest of BITS, Pilani is a large scale event that has attracted connoisseurs of engineering and technology over the years. It represents the zenith of science and engineering in a landscape of future visionaries and scientists.

Apogee 2019 Stepping into its 37th year, APOGEE 2019 plans to continue on this path of success with events and lectures planned which would live up to its legacy. It is with the concerted effort of its student fraternity and the support of the institute that we embark on this landmark festival, overcoming every little hurdle on the way and raising the bar just that little bit higher each year.

AIC 2019 Apogee Innovation Challenge is a kernel event of APOGEE 2019, which provides a platform for students from different colleges of the country to work on the real life problem statements posed by companies. But how does it work? Problem statements released by companies. Students form teams of 2 or 3 members. Teams select problem statements and start working on it. Every team is provided a max. of 30 days to come up with the solutions. Judges from the companies select top 5 teams. Winners are usually awarded in form of cash prizes, internships or goodies.

Why participate? A company can largely benefit from participating in AIC 2019 in following ways: By associating with Apogee Innovation Challenge, the company becomes an event partner of Apogee 2019 and would be publicized on the Apogee 2019 website and Facebook page. The company can use the ingenuity of some of the brightest young minds of the country to get a pool of innovative approaches for solving a particular problems. Being one of the major events of Apogee 2019 and a unique concept, this event would get wide media coverage from leading media sources in india.
