You choose one of the six (6) Biomes Found in your textbook: chapter 3, lesson 2, (pg. 136) Grasslands Deciduous Forests Tropical Rain Forest Deserts Taiga Tundra (10pts) Along with the biome (box) you should also attach a 3x5 index card explaining: •
• Can we visit your Biome in the U.s. ? (2pt) On What other continent(s) might your Biome be located? (2pt) • Average yearly temperature (2pt) • What can you tell about the biotic factors? (2pt) • What can you tell about the abiotic factors? (2pt) • What biome do we live in? (2pts) • In class presentation (3 pts)
This project is due by Tuesday, sept. 23 if you would like the extra credit 25 pts In science. This must be done by the students Minimal to no help by parents please. Use supplies you already have at home. Be creative and have fun! Questions? [email protected]
