Bio 2

Jason Bakeberg

I was born in Rapid City, SD on Dec. 13, 1985. I moved around a bit between then and 1994, but we then settled down in Pierre. I attended Buchanan Elementary from 2nd to 6th grade, Pierre Jr. High for 7th and 8th, and went on to graduate from T. F. Riggs High School in 2004. After graduating I attended South Dakota State University for two and a half years, persuing a B.S. in advertising. I then decided to transfer to Dakota State University to work toward a computer science degree. After three semesters of this grueling program, I decided computer science was not my calling. I transfered back to SDSU in the summer of 2008 and I am currently working on wrapping up my advertising degree. I am doing an internship with Thomson Vanduch Productions here in Brookings this semester, while also working as an unloader at Walmart and attending school full time. It will definitely be a busy 3 months. I enjoy music. I have played guitar for almost 8 years, playing with friends in a band for the majority of this time. I spend most of my free time with my girlfriend and we love to go to shows and concerts. In the future I hope to obtain my degree and move to an apartment in a larger city, find a job in an advertising agency, marry my girlfriend, get promotions, buy a nice house, get a dog, have a few kids, retire and live happily ever after!
