Foolprint Wood Chisels are made in Sheffield from fully forged high carbon steel. The comfortable, Plastic handle is Impact Resistant and may be struck with a hammer.The Blades are bevel edged thus allowing waste to be cleared from corners. USAGE INSTRUCTIONS ~ The wood to be worked on should be firmly secured to prevent movement. ~ Keep both hands behind the cutting edge and chisel away from Ihe body. ~ Arem of wood to be extracted should be divided into small areas to aid removal. ~ This chisel should NOT be used as a lever to remove wmte material by force. SHARPENING
~ Grinding: The Grinding angle for the end of the chisel is approximately

cool by frequently dipping inlo cold water.
~ Honing: Use thin machine oil and a fine grade of oilstone. Hold the blade al approximately

the stone [fig.2). Apply pressure on the forward stroke only. CARE INSTRUCTIONS ~ Replace the guard after use since the blades are sharp .~ Store in a dry place out of reach of children.
