CT BRAIN WITHOUT CONTRAST REASON FOR EXAMINATION Dizziness FINDINGS Contiguous CT images of the brain required from the skull base, the vertex of the skeleton. Images are reviewed an axial 4.8 mm thick sections without contrast enhancement. The posterior fossa structures appeared normal. The basal cisterns are clear. The ventricular system appears normal. The presents of calcified choroid plexus are as noted. There is no evidence of major vessel territorial cerebral infarction or intracranial hemorrhage. There is no significant midline shift or mass effect seen. The view of bone windows demonstrates mild mucosa thickening in the right frontal sinus. There are multiple ovoid, lucencies which are seen within the apex of the skull which are uncertain significance. IMPRESSION 1. There is no evidence of an acute intracranial process. 2. There is mild mucosa thickening with the left frontal sinus.
