The batwing is based on an oval. The easiest thing to do is to get a piece of carton and use it as a mould, first you put two needles in the carton just like the picture beneath. Get a rope (about one meter long inclusive the noose) and put it between the needles. Put a pencil against the outside of the rope and draw an oval.

draw two lines like the picture above, put two needles in the carton about 300mm from the left and the right of the midpoint. then get the rope and put it between the two needles, stretch the rope with a pecil and draw the outher limits of the rope (see the blue lines in the picture above). Now you have an oval you can draw the other lines see for examples the picture below and if you want a on scale picture then download the zipfile . The plane is made from 20mm tick "roofmate" (thats what the call it here in the netherlands), you can get this foam probbebly in every "do it your self-store". Use a saw or a very sharp knive to saw/cut the foam (I should use a knife because it's more precisely and it gives a better result). To give the foam more stiffness you can put a some foil on the foam. In the middle of the plane there two plates on the top and on the bottom of the plane. Both from 10mm thick balsa. the plate on the bottom is for the ruders.
