Supplies needed—

1st Nine Weeks Learning Goals Reading and language: • Building comprehension and listening skills • Building vocabulary • Nouns, adjectives and verbs • Capitalizing, end punctuation, and sentence building • Sequencing events and retelling or summarizing stories • Writing to record thoughts, feelings, observations, and ideas Math: • Adding and subtracting to 10 • Patterns • 2 digit numbers to 25 • Measuring length Science: • Observing objects with the 5 senses • Sorting and classifying • Systems and their parts Social Studies • Being a good citizen • Families and basic needs • Simple map skills

1 backpack (without wheels) 1 small 5” x 8” plastic supply box 20 sharpened pencils 10 pencil cap erasers 1 pair of primary scissors 1 pencil sharpener with cover (to catch pencil shavings) 1 box of crayons and/or colored pencils 5 pocket folders (pockets on the bottom) 1 pack of primary writing paper (loose leaf, wide-ruled) 1 bottle of white glue and 2 glue sticks 1 ruler 4 black dry erase markers 1 bottle of hand sanitizer 1 container of baby wipes 1 box of Ziploc bags ( gallon or quart size) 1 box of tissues 1 roll of paper towels Please label all supplies with your child’s name.
