INTRODUCTION Below is the supplication that is commonly read during the 15th of the Islamic Month of Sya’ban (Shaaban). We have compiled these Texts thus far in the following languages; Arabic, English and Malay. We hope that it would be beneficial to one and all. We apologize for any errors that might have been made with the texts produced below, if any, and we hope for your forgiveness. If you find any errors or if you would like to assist in the Translation of these texts to other languages, or if you have any supporting texts that you would like to see added, please do contact us either via our Forums or through the Contact Us form at http://www.baalawi.com . This compilation is a work in progress and we hope to have this supplication and many others in our Repository translated and transliterated in more languages to further aid us in the quest for knowledge be it for this world or the next. ADAB - SUPPLICATION SEQUENCE IN ENGLISH Reading of Surah Yasin three times; 1. With the intention of long life to continue in the worship of Allah Jalla Jallaluh (S.W.T.). 2. With the intention to receive rizik (livelihood/fortunes) of which is halal from Allah Jalla Jallaluh (S.W.T.) as provisions to continue in the worship of Allah Jalla Jallaluh (S.W.T.). 3. With the intention for the strength of Faith (Iman) and a good end (husnul khatimah).

After every reading (i.e. Surah Yasin) recite the following doa/supplication listed.

IN MALAY Didahului membaca Surah Yasin tiga kali dengan niat/hajat, 1. Mohon dipanjangkan umurnya untuk melaksanakan ibadah kepada Allah Jalla Jallaluh. 2. Mohon rizki yang banyak lagi halal kepada Allah Jalla Jallaluh, untuk bekal melakukan ibadah kepada Allah. 3. Mohon dikokohkan imannya serta husnul khatimah.

TRANSLITERATION Allahumma Yaa Dhal Manni walaa yumannu ‘Alayh YaaDhal Jalaali wa’l Ikraam Yaa Dhat-Tawli wa’l In’aam Laa Ilaaha illa anta Zahru’llaajeen wa jaaru’l mustajeereen wa amaanu’l khaaifeen Allahumma in kunta katabtanee ‘Indaka fee Ummil Kitabi Shaqiyyan aw mahruman aw matrudan aw muqattaran ‘alayya fi’rrizqi Fa’mhuAllahumma biFadlika Shaqaawatee wa hirmaanee wa tardee wa’qtitaara rizqee Wa-athbitnee ‘Indaka fee Ummil Kitabi Sa’eedan marzuqan muwaffaqan li’lkhayraati Fa Innaka Qulta wa Qawluka’l Haqq Fee Kitabika’l munzal ‘alaa lisaani Nabiyyika’l Mursal Yamhullahu maa Yashaa’u wa yuthbit Wa ‘Indahu Ummul Kitab Ilaahi Bittajalli’l A’zam Fee laylatin-nisfi min shahri Sha’ban al-Mukarram Allatee yufraqu feehaa kullu amrin hakeemin wa yubram An takshifa ‘annaa mina’l ballaai wa’l balwaai Maa na’lamu wa maa laa na’lam Wa anta bihi a’lam Innaka anta’l A’azzu’l Akram Wa Sallallahu Ta’ala ‘alaa Sayyidina Muhammad-in Wa ‘alaa aalihi wa as’haabihi wa sallam Wa’l Hamdu Lillahi Rabbi’l ‘Aalameen

TRANSLATION IN ENGLISH O Allah! You shower favours on everyone And no one can do You any favour. O The Possessor of Majesty and Honour, O The Distributor of bounty and rewards, There is no one worthy of worship except You. You help the fallen And provide refuge to the refugees And give peace to those who are in fear. O Allah! If in the Mother of All Books that is with You You have written me down as someone who is Doubtful of achieving salvation, or deprived, Or rejected or without enough sustenance, Then, O Allah, with Your Grace Remove all of these misfortunes from me and in the Mother of All Books that is with You, establish me as someone who is blessed, with abundant provision and charitable good deeds. Indeed, what You said in The Book You sent Through the tongue of Your Blessed Prophet is true That Allah changes and establishes what He wants And with Him is the Mother of All Books. O My Lord! For the sake of Your Divine Manifestation On this fifteenth night of the blessed month of Sha'ban In which You issue all Wise and Irrevocable Decrees Remove from us all calamities and hardships, those that we know about as well as those that we don't, while You know everything. Truly, You are the Most Powerful, Most Generous. And may Allah the Exalted shower blessings and peace on Sayyidina Muhammad, and on his family and his companions And all praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds.

IN MALAY Ya Allah, wahai dzat yang memiliki anugerah dan tidak diberi anugerah kepada-Mu. Wahai Dzat yang memiliki keagungan dan kemuliaan Wahai Dzat yang memiliki anugerah dan kenikmatan. Tiada Tuhan melainkan Engkau, dan pertolongannya orang yang mengungsi, dengan keselamatannya orang yang meminta pertolongan dan dengan keamanan serta sentausanya orang yang takut. Ya Allah, jida Engaku telah menulis akudi sisi-Mu di dalam Ummil kitab sebagai orang yang celaka atau terhalang atau tertolak atau sempit dalam rezkiku, maka hapuslah. Ya Allah, dengan anugerah-Mu celakaku, terhalangku, tertolakku dan kesempitanku dalam rizkiku dan tetapkanlah aku di sisi-Mu dalam Ummil kitab sebagai orang yang beruntung memperoleh rezeki dan taufiq dalam melakukan kebajikan, Sesungguhnya Enkau telah bersabda dan sabda-Mu adalah benar di dalam kitab-Mu yang diturunkan atas lisan Nabi-Mu yang terutus. Allah menghapus apa yang Dia kehendaki dan menetapkan dan di sisi Allah Ummul Kitab. Wahai Tuhanku, dengan kenyataan yang agung pada malam pertangahan bulan Sya’ban yang mulia yang di malam pertangahan bulan Sya’ban segala perkara yang ditetapkan dibedakan, hapuskanlah dari saya balak-balak yang saya telah mengetahui dan yang belum saya ketahui. Engkaulah Yang Maha Mengetahui segala sesuatu yang tersembunyi, dengan rahmat-Mu wahai Tuhan yang Maha mengasihani. Semoga Allah selalu melimpahkan shalawat dan salam kepada junjung kami/kita Nabi Muhammad S.A.W. serta atas keluarga dan shahabat beliau.
