BRAINSTORM 1.

Write down your ideas for a project based on the theme Ensemble: Making Music Together. For example, do you know any musicians in your area who you could interview? Do you know any musicians that have recorded a CD? Do you know any local choir members or a group of buskers in your town? Is there a music group in your school? What could you find out from these musicians?

2.

How would you research this project? What methods could you use to find out more about the group, choir, band, music class etc. that you would like to research? Could you interview someone? Can you visit your local library to find out more about the type of music they play for example? Can you invite them to your classroom to perform and talk about their music? Do you have access to any recording equipment?

3.

Give a title to your research project idea. Is there anyone in your class with a similar idea?
