Norwich Union Insurance for

Asset & Configuration Management

Norwich Union is the largest insurer in the UK and is part of Aviva, the world's fifth–largest insurance group which has around £240 billion of assets under management. Aviva has 51,000 employees serving 30 million customers worldwide .

The requirement

Norwich Union was undergoing a technology

standardization program for desktop and network

technology. The decision was taken to implement an Asset

Management solution to provide them with a single source of IT Asset information, as well as help them meet

regulatory and software compliance requirements. This

would also be the first positive steps Norwich Union would take towards an ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) aligned IT Service Management structure.
