Automatic Car Parking System Introduction
As the technology advances there is an increasing need for improvement in the existing technology. So as we found out there are some areas where we can provide a single unit control which will be must beneficial for providing an efficient working in the industry. As the industry performing the manual work function so we are trying to provide a single unit control to drive the multiple application under the regulated control format so a single person can handle many application at a time with more easy and comfortably. With the advent of modern technology, the human brain is working day by day to develop complex and more technology specific products which have multifarious applications in the different aspects of work field. This project deals with designing of one such product which can be used multifariously in various commercial and official activities. An introduction to the project can be given as designing of an Automatic Car Parking controlled through a PC. It consist of an panel which is attached to varies electrical devices from which a single person can handles all system from one position This operations are controlled by interfacing it using buses with a personal computer. All operations are controlled through keyboard inputs of a PC. All these executions are made possible with the help of a most powerful programming language the ‘Visual Basic’ language. The software is comprised of ‘Visual Basic’’ language programs when executed give The desired physical results hence all operations can be easily managed with the PC.

Working The interfacing circuit consists of two types of circuit. The first circuit is switching circuit. The switching of the devices is done through the keyboard and controlled by software. The block diagram of the switching circuit is as shown in the figure. The PC parallel port is a powerful platform though expensive for implementing for project dealing with the control of real world peripheral. It can be used to control the printer as well as household and industrial instrument. The computer program includes as a major part of this project to control the relay through an interfacing called as switching circuit which turn the devices on or off. The parallel port has 12 output including 8 data lines and 4 control lines. The circuit describes here to control the electrical appliances. The software program allows the user to know the current status of the devices. The proposed circuit of switching is as shown in the figure. The circuit consists IC ULN2803 Darlington arrays and relays with resistive network. It is used to give the multiple outputs from a single input. The switching IC ULN2803 is used to for switching action. For the operation of the IC +5 volt regulated power supply is provided and for the operation of the relays +12 volt supply is provided. As we operated the for control of devices we give single input to the IC. This IC converts the single input into the multiple outputs. This output is forwarded to the to the switching IC ULN2803 through the resistive network. Due to the action of the Darlington arrays IC ULN2803 the coil of the relay operates and the relay gets into action which causes the switching of the forwarding and reversing of the motors.
