Authentic Marxist-Leninism with Imaginariumese Characteristics • • •
Derives from the beliefs of Marx, and the later adaptations of Lenin. A social/economic Ideology Imaginariumese Characteristics refers to the various adaptations from the original theories made within the nation of Imaginarium to build the Socialist vision, working towards a Communist Future.
Politics • Active participation of the people in the building of a Socialist vision of Imaginarium, on the journey towards a Communist Future. • Soviet Councils hold the power over their assigned districts, with all citizens within that area having full power over their local issues. • One representative of each district is elected into the Collective Soviet, held at the capital. This is a national body, where issues which effect multiple areas and districts of the nation are discussed and decided on. • The 14 person Politburo of Imaginarium runs the day to day running of the nation, with each member being an elected People’s Commissar for different sections of the state. These in turn will stand before the Collective Soviet, who will vote on issues brought by the Commissar. These positions are the following; •
People’s Commissar for Agriculture
•
People’s Commissar for War
•
People’s Commissar for Education
•
People’s Commissar for Food
•
People’s Commissar for Foreign Relations
•
People’s Commissar for Internal Affairs
•
People’s Commissar for Justice
•
People’s Commissar for Labour and Industry
•

•
People’s Commissar for Communications

•
Political parties do not exist as such, but citizens may join the “Government” if they wish to work within government branches.
•
The Government is charged with furthering the Communist path.
Economy • A Socialist system is in place over the economic running of the nation • Private land, property, and business, along with any attempts to privatise any section of society are illegal. • A stricter war time economy can be enforced in times of warfare on the homeland. Education • All citizens must be provided with a free education until the age of 18. • Degree education is optional, but once again free for all. • “Knowledge is the key to a better society”, optional classes are in place for those who wish to learn extra skills, with rewarding prospects for those who choose to carry on with education. Religion • Religion, although seen to be an enemy of the common man, is not frowned upon. • All people are taught to be accepting of others beliefs, as long as they do not impose harm on others. • All religions are accepted, if once again they do not in anyway harm other people. • Atheism is the official state Stance on religion. Health • Universal health care is provided for all. • Health care counts as providing medical support for a citizen; this does not count cosmetic surgery, unless the practise is done to drastically improve someone’s life, i.e. to help burns victims. • All citizens are screened for medical problems every 6 months. Military • Military enrolment is optional from 17 onwards • All citizens must serve 2 years of military training, in which basic nation defence is taught. • The Conscription of citizens should only be an option during times of total war. • The Commissar for War is the official head of the Military, but in turn must report to the General secretary and Collective Soviet. Foreign Relations • Dramatic support for Leftist Nations • Dramatic support for the Union of Left Nations • Dramatic Support of the revolutionary struggle of the people in oppressed nations. • Emphasis on peace with other nations, with war never being the first option. • Zero relations with openly Fascist or Anti-leftist nations.
