Auditorio Emanuel De Falla designed by José María García de Paredes.
This is the first majour building built on the historic site since 1527.One of the main aims behind the design was to integrate the building into the surrounding landscape. these early sketches show how he was trying to achieve this section and elevation. careful choice of materials blends the building into its historic context.
The spaces are ment to project out from the centre, similar to that of the Alhamdra. It acts oppositly to a space that is created by a ridgidly enclosed box. it spread out like a mat forming connections.
