GRADUATION AND RECOGNITION CEREMONY 2018 SOLONG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Camalig, Albay  A pleasant morning to each and every one! May we request the candidates for graduation and the awardees to please be ready. We are about to start the program.  In just a few minutes we shall start this morning’s graduation ceremony. All parents enjoined to be with their children during the processional.

PROGRAM PROPER Part I

INTRODUCTION:  Today we celebrate the accomplishments and academic achievements of our pupils. This event is one of the most awaited on the part of the pupils as well of course the parents. Another history slowly unfolds as we come to an end of the School Year 2017 – 2018. This is the time that they’re going to reap the fruits of their hard work, determination and perseverance.  Without much ado, we are welcoming you to the 51st Graduation Exercises with the theme: “Mag-aaral ng K to 12: Handa sa Hamon ng Buhay.”

1. PROCESSIONAL:  Ladies and gentlemen, the entrance of the candidates for graduation with their parents, Barangay Officials, GPTCA Officials, Teachers, School Head, DO Representative and Guest Speaker.

2. DOXOLOGY:  To begin with, may I request everyone to please remain standing as we pay tribute, honor and glory to our Almighty God through a doxology; and this will be followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, with Mrs. Aileen A. Nuyles, conducting.

4. OPENING REMARKS:  At this moment, may we request the very active GPTCA President, Mrs. Agnes N. Ordiales for her Opening Remarks.

6. PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATES FOR GRADUATION:  To do the honor of presenting this year’s candidates for graduation, may we have on stage our very own Principal, Mr. Alfredo N. Nieva, Jr., to be followed by the acceptance and confirmation of the graduates by our DO Representative, Mr. Walden M. Cervantes, Principal of Comun Elementary School.

7. CONFIRMATION OF CANDICATES -----Thank you very much Sir.  Congratulations to our new graduates of this school year 2017 - 2018! Ladies and gentlemen let us give them a round of applause.  As a symbol of our deepest gratitude to our DO Representative, Sir Walden M. Cervantes, we shall award him with a plaque of appreciation and a simple token. To award him, may I request our School Head, Mr. Alfredo N. Nieva Jr., our GPTCA President, Mrs. Agnes N. Ordiales, and Grade 6 Class Adviser, Mrs. Liezel C. Dacuno... Allow me to read the citation..... Thank you...

8. MESSAGE FROM DEPED SECRETARY  And to extend the message of our DepEd Secretary, Leonor M. Briones may I call in (again) our School Head, Mr. Alfredo N. Nieva, Jr. (a round of applause….)

10. MESSAGE OF THE GUEST SPEAKER:  Thank very much Sir for that very inspiring and worth remembering message.  As a symbol of our deepest thanks to our Guest Speaker, Mr. Teodolfo N. Moico, for gracing our ceremony this morning, we shall award him with a plaque of appreciation and a simple token. To award him, may I request our Principal Mr. Alfredo N. Nieva, Jr., Mrs. Aileen A. Nuyles, and our Brgy. Captain Mr. Virgilio N. Nacion... May I read to you the citation..... Thank you...

AWARDING OF MEDALS AND CERTIFICATES TO HONOR PUPILS (GRADE VI)  We now come to one of the most awaited part of this program, the pinning of ribbons and awarding of medals to the honor graduates and special awardees to be given by our Guest Speaker Mr. Teodolfo N. Moico; our Principal, Mr. Alfredo N. Nieva Jr.; Brgy. Captain, Virgilio N. Nacion Jr.; GPTCA President, Mrs. Agnes N. Ordiales; and to be assisted by Mrs. Aileen A. 14. DISTRIBUTION OF DIPLOMA TO THE GRADUATES  A Certificate of Graduation is the tangible evidence of being a graduate in a certain level of graduation. This now the fruit of each pupil’s endeavor. So, to do the honors of the distribution of certificates to our graduates may we have on stage once more our Principal, Mr. Alfredo N. Nieva Jr., Brgy. Captain, Mr. Virgilio N. Nacion, Jr., Mr. Walden M. Cevantes, our DO Representative, and our Guest of Honor and Speaker, Mr. Teodolfo N. Moico, to be assisted by Mrs. Liezel C. Dacuno.  May I request the parents to join with their children as they come up the

To our dear graduates Graduation isn’t the end of a tough journey… It is the beginning of a beautiful one… Graduation is not the end of a book, but just finishing a chapter. You have to enter another episode, another exciting and much more challenging phase. Be therefore strong and always strive for perfection. No matter what happen, remember to thank God for making all of these possible. May God’s graces be with you as you step ahead towards your dreams. Keep the courage as you face new challenges in life. Congratulations! And we are proud of you!

RECOGNITION PROGRAM AWARDING OF MEDALS, CERTIFICATES, AND RIBBONS TO HONOR PUPILS (GRADE 1-5)  We now come to the awarding of medals, certificates, and ribbons to our honor pupils and achievers…  Another 10 months of studying is over, a time to give incentives for those pupils who showed their exemplary abilities notwithstanding the difficulties and hardships they encounter from the battle of learning....  To begin with, the Honor Pupils and special awardees of Grade 1….. (please refer to the attached list…)

4. AWARDING OF CERTIFICATES TO LOYAL PARENTS  We would like to acknowledge the efforts of our parents who serve as one of the pillars of this institution. In connection with this, we would like to distinguish their valuable efforts, loyalty, and dedication to Solong ES Family. Our loyal parents will be awarded with a certificate of appreciation. CLOSING MESSAGE: me: Before we part ways, in behalf of the Solong ES family we would like to leave a short message to ponder of our dear graduates... Don’t forget to thank everyone who helped you reached this day. Thank your parents for their undying support to you. Thank your teachers for their dedication in teaching you everything you needed to learn. Thank your classmates for always being there and for sharing in all your school’s tasks and events. Take a good look at each one of you will go on their separate ways. But no matter what happen remember to thank God for making all of these possible. However, bear in mind that after graduation is not time to relax rather it is time for preparation and soul searching. For graduation is not the end of a book, but just finishing a chapter. You have to enter another episode, another exciting and much more challenging phase. Be therefore strong and always strive for perfection. May God’s graces be with you as you step ahead towards your dreams. Keep the courage as you face new challenges in life. Congratulations!
