Throughout history, people have sought answers to questions by consulting astrologers. Now, even with the recent developments achieved in technology, it remains to be a popular alternative method. Astrology readings are serious business for some people, others will tell you that the readings are just for fun. However, this is a science and like any other science its reliability depends upon the accuracy of the predictions made by the astrologer. Nowadays many people have started learning and making predictions. This could lead to confusion and one could wonder if they should be taken seriously.

Some even think that Astrology may not exactly predict the future but at least bring out the "tendencies" and "patterns" that govern our behaviour. In a way it can be helpful to consult the planetary positions when making a decision or undergoing a significant change.

However it is ironic that choice making for many events in life like Matrimony is limited to the guidelines of astrology, where the will of the individual does not count a lot but an approval from the Astrologer is awarded supremacy.

Astrology becomes a bane or curse when we completely depend on these forecasts or predictions and we don't take any initiative or steps to overcome the hurdles in our life.

Our dependence on Astrology is the negation of our inner strength, potential and capabilities. Hence in the ever changing world which we live in, we cannot agree more to the fact that we must learn to live in the present.
