Since ancient times man has always yearned to rise above the vague illusions seeking reality, creating hypothesis and trying to prove the same, yet knowing fully well that he can't defy transcendentalism. The search still continues….............. This search has formed the basis of existence of many a scientist, an engineer and a technocrat, who thrive to achieve what man has not achieved so far. In ARANYA 2008 we present to you another land, a mystical land, where the technological and scientific geniuses of today will stand hand in hand, to discuss, innovate and work towards creating another theory, make another discovery or invent another thought and fulfil their desire of reaching where no men has reached thus far.

INQUIZITIVE If we value the pursuit of knowledge we must be free to follow whatever the search will lead us to. One of the biggest quizing events of the year. The participants pit their brains against each other in the battle of wits. Hosted by Barry O’ Brian the world renowned quizmaster. We proudly present the Tech Quiz unleashing your minds into the vast world of science and technology.

SHAURYA GAATHA We as Indians feel proud of our Military and Air Force might. ARANYA will showcase an exhibition by Army and Air Force personnel displaying their warfare technology. It includes a series of motivational workshops for school children.

Learning

Eminent personalities from the fields of science, technology and business shares their ideas through lecture series. These lectures are interactive in nature and hence popular among students and academicians alike.

Work shops at ARANYA emulates the principle of learn while you do. Professionals conduct this workshop in state of art laboratories and classrooms. In the past workshops have provided hands-on experience to the participants in the field of robotics and entrepreneurship.

Events

Competitions form the backbone of ARANYA, they continue to test and inspire young and brilliant minds to think extraordinary. With competitions ranging from Robotics to aeromodeling and coding to circuit design every student competes for prize money in excess of 4.5 lakhs and most importantly the prestige of winning at most renowned technical festival of the region .Apart from spanning various disciplenes of engineering they also address social and environmental concerns.

MOCK UN......PUN NOT INTENDED This event is a simulation of the united nations where each participant represents a nation given to him, to take a stand on the topic decided for the session.

Literary & Management DALAL STREET This event is a simulation of the stock market. With an expert to conduct the event the stock market will come to life as live figures will be flashed and the participants will have to prove their understanding of the stock market.

ARTHA One flash of genius, one moment of luck....this is not all behind every budding entrepreneurs.
