Subject: REQUEST FOR THE INTERNSHIP Dear Sir/ Madam I am a student of final year of M.Sc Environmental Science from Tribhuvan University. As an environment graduate, I have always been familiar with the environment problems and their possible solutions. I think I can be the part of the work which the organisation is doing and contribute myself in this field. Working as a volunteer for two years, I’ve worked in different types of communities, different groups and conducted various programs on safe drinking water, solid waste management, resource recovery options and alternative technologies as well as sanitation and hygiene programs, environment conservation and natural resource management. Apart from the above, I have also involved in alternative energy promotion and development activities like Solar Tuki, Improved Cooking Stoves, and some knowledge on water and waste water management. Also as per my major, I have completed my Bachelor’s in Environmental Science and currently I am pursuing my Masters Degree in Environmental Science, specialising in Freshwater Environment. During this period of my study, I have involved in different research activities related to water and water ecology. I have involved in River Water Monitoring for a year as well as assisted in the Dissertation activities. I have also done research works on Productivity of Lake, Bio Assessment of River using Macro invertebrates. Apart from that, I have also conducted training programmes on River Monitoring, Physico Chemical Analysis of water and waste water. With knowledge from the above activities, I will involve in the activities of the organisation with great strengths and enthusiasm. In addition to above, good communication skills and strong computer knowledge can help me in my work. Please review the enclosed resume and consider my application as an INTERN.
