Annexure I Guidelines

Guidelines for 14th KAIZEN Competition- Maharashtra State Level Monday, 18 February 2019 : Nashik Engineering Cluster (NEC), C-10, Ambad MIDC, Nashik

1.

Total time allotted for each kaizen presentation is 12 minutes. The break-up would be: 7 minutes – presentation; 3 minutes – Q/ A Session; 2 minutes – change over.

Acceptance of Kaizen Papers only after Scrutiny by a Panel on “First Come First Serve Basis”

Each Kaizen Team should consist of THREE Employees only. 

Only ONE SPEAKER is allowed per Kaizen Presentation. The person who will make Presentation should be of Workmen / Operator Category and other TWO accompanying him can be of any other category ( non speaking support )



Please ensure that the reply form carries the company designations of the members and is certified by the departmental / section head .The name of the Speaker and his supporting TWO members should be mentioned separately.



Presentations may be in Hindi, English or Marathi.

There will be a panel of judges to assess the presentations.

The assessment of the presentation would be made on a weighted scale covering different aspects of the Kaizen activity including presentation. The assessment / evaluation would depend upon factors like Problem selection, Analysis & Solution, Implementation and sustenance, Presentation Quality, Standardization / Horizontal Deployment, Results and benefits.

Registration form & Kaizen sheet should reach at least 3 days prior to the date of the competition. In case there are more than 1 Kaizen Team from a company qualifying for first 3 positions, only 1 team will be awarded the trophy as per the order of merit, standing 2 nd and 3rd, from the same company.

LCD projector can be used for presentation. You may carry your presentations in a pen drive. However please indicate your audio-visual requirements beforehand to us. ----------------------
