Summer, 2018 I moved into the Kingswood Dormitory at Cranbrook Schools acting as a mentor, first resource for social, academic or institutional questions to high school girls from Detroit and Pontiac, Michigan. Students were provided an opportunity to live at Cranbrook and take courses to improve their academic skills as well as compete to win a four year scholarship including room & board, to this prestigious boarding school.

As a member, whenever there is an incident where a student at the school disobeys the rules, we are held responsible to create a fair punishment for that student. Member, Wolverine Support Network - University of Michigan. WSN is designed to empower students to create a safe community in support of mental well-being and identity development. The peer-facilitated groups meet weekly and provide a place to discuss day-to-day stressors, build trust, and connect with students from all across campus.

Spring 2017: I shadowed Aaron Berman, MD, Chief of Cardiology, Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak, for a large portion of the month of May, 2017. I was able to watch multiple procedures including open heart surgeries, angioplasties, and stent replacements. I learned so much about health care, and cardiology through my interactions with patients,n and time spent with Dr. Berman.
