Hahn 1 Angelina Hahn Mrs. Hietanen English III Honors 29 January 2019 A color with no hue You blow on the ripened dandelion head, The little tuffs blow in the wind carrying, your wishes upon them.
Freshly cleaned sheets encase you in warmth, And your pillow reminds you of freshly fallen snow.
Swans and Albino peacocks, Rabbits, and polar bears, Doves that fly through the downy clouds.
You are covered in a blanket of flour and sugar and buttercream frosting, After baking a vanilla cake.
A blank canvas waits patiently to receive its color, And even after it is covered in paint,
Hahn 2 Underneath is still the equally beautiful nothing That is the tightly stretched linen.
Not in a rainbow, Not on the color wheel, But just as interesting and useful.
