Context Setting

Infosys always believes in employee satisfaction and happiness •

Complete freedom of expression to bring the best out of the employee for whole lot of constructive purpose

And that is the reason, we see many different initiatives, and investments happening for employee benefits

One such movement which received great response was Infosys Bulletin Board, famously known as BB

Thus BB happens to be Infoscions’ scratch pad for whole lot of purpose

Spontaneity, Originality, ‘the other self’ comes out here

Infosys BB emotions ! •

Doesn’t your heart beat goes up when you watch India-Pakistan cricket match, and India needs some 10 runs in 6 balls – the emotions fly so high!

Don’t you lose your patience when you get caught in the traffic jam, or your shoes flatten out because of babudom !

Don’t you feel sad of infrastructure around you, about the slums, poverty, illiteracy

Don’t you jump with joy in your seat when you come to know that Indian Hockey team has won the title, or Sachin has scored yet another century

Doesn’t it make you sad to know about demise of your favorite icon, about a national calamity which has gripped the entire nation

Don’t you feel proud to know the valor our jawans display at the border, about the Aero Show, about our indigenously developed aircrafts, missiles

Infosys BB has it all !

Life at BB … … powered by thought, driven by expression!

Can we do something constructive about BB … … and the talks happening over it ! •

But still maintain the ‘Magical Aura’ of Infosys and Infoscions

Can it be open to public?

Can it be used for constructi ve purpose?

Can it contribute for a social cause?

Can it bring the best out of Infoscions ?

The Idea

Isn’t it true? •

At times, we all write something or the other, which is worth reading and publicizing.

But then we miss out the publication part.

So when we get a medium something like BB, we let the best of creative juices flow.

Spontaneity brings the best out people – and that is what Infosys BB is all about!

If the existing written live discussions, gets published and sells out in market to contribute to Infosys foundation – A Win-Win Situation!

Robert Southey pens down his thoughts for man’s greatest friends – … Books! … My days among the Dead are past Around me I behold, Where'er these casual eyes are cast, The mighty minds of old My never-failing friends are they, With whom I converse day by day.

My thoughts are with the Dead; with them I live in long-past years, Their virtues love, their faults condemn, Partake their hopes and fears; And from their lessons seek and find Instruction with an humble mind.

With them I take delight in weal And seek relief in woe; And while I understand and feel How much to them I owe, My cheeks have often been bedew'd With tears of thoughtful gratitude. My hopes are with the Dead; anon My place with them will be, And I with them shall travel on Through all Futurity; Yet leaving here a name, I trust, That will not perish in the dust.

‘Thank You’ !
