SYNOPSIS Introduction: Now days, heavy vehicles (particularly Lorries and buses) causes more vibration in rear wheel. Already in all vehicles leaf spring is provided to reduce vibration, by continuation we are going to introduce shock absorber in the vehicles. This is design oriented project. Objective of the Project: Its main objective is to introduce damping in between ground force and weight of the vehicle To design the spring in the shock absorber which can withstand higher load, ground force and vibrating force. Mainly to avoid oscillation motion in the rear wheel. Scope of the Project: It reduces oscillatory force It increases the damping force to avoid vibration Comparing to leaf spring the effect of shock absorber is higher Brief Methodology: There is oscillation in between ground and weight of the vehicle. To avoid this vibration, shock absorber is designed to provide damping force in between ground and the weight of the vehicle.
