catholic (small "c") - "universal" all-embracing; originally the whole body of Christians before Eastern (Greek) and Western (Latin) separation. Roman Catholic Church is the part of the Latin Church that remained under the Roman obedience after the Reformation; recognizes jurisdiction of Pope as supreme head. Protestant - Christian bodies that separated from the Roman Communion in the 16th century Reformation [and offshoots] (dissented from decision of Diet of Spires in 1529).

United Pentecostal Church
Orthodox - "Correct" or currently accepted religious doctrine; not heretical, independent-minded nor original. Authoritatively established, approved and conventional theology with strict adherence to traditional observances. Denomination - Church or religious sect with common agreed upon doctrines and beliefs (mainstream vs cult).
