AIUB- Champion in 3rd AIUB Debate Week 2008 (Bangla) The grand finale of the 3rd AIUB Debate Week 2008 took place in the Auditorium of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) on Friday 18th April 2008. The program started on 4th April encompassing 17 different universities and 14 different colleges. The theme of the program is ‘For a change that makes the difference’. In the final round of English debating competition, North South University became the Cmapion and AIUB became Runner-UP. In the Bangla final AIUB became Champion beating Stamford University. Mr. Mahfuz Anam, Chief Editor of the Daily Star graced the prize giving ceremony as the Chief Guest. Father Bakul S. Rozario CSC, Vice Principal of Notre Dame College remained as the Special Guest. Dr. Carmen Z Lamagna, honorable Vice Chancellor of AIUB and Professor Dr. Tafazzal Hossain, honorable Vice President, Academic Affairs of AIUB were also present in the program.
