SUBJECT: CANCELLATION OF BROADBAND CONNECTION, AIRTEL ACCOUNT NO. 10958609 Sir, I am writing this application for the cancellation of the Broadband Connection Account No. 10958609, PLAN. I am availing the AIRTEL services for the past 2 years and till date I did not face any problems relating to the services or billing. It was when I received the bills for the month of May (invoice no. 4439324449) , I was shocked to see that I was overcharged. After a careful perusal I noticed that the downloading shown in the bill was not done at all. I rechecked the bill and found that the billing done was completely wrong. I tried to connect with the Customer Care Services via phone for the rectification but always either I was put on hold or the lines were busy. Finally, I deposited a sum of Rs 1,500/-, the amount I have been depositing regularly for the past 2 years. Later, I received the next bill for the month of June (invoice no. 449330842), and to my astonishment, I found that I was again overcharged in the same way as I was overcharged in the month of May. I am being overcharged for last 2 months, when the heavy downloading was not done and the internet was not used frequently. This kind of erroneous billing has caused me inconvenience and forced me to finally take a decision to discontinue the usage of broadband connection provided by AIRTEL I would like to bring to your notice that, I do not want to continue with the services of Broadband provided by Airtel. In view thereof I request you to disconnect/discontinue the broadband services in A/C No. 10958609 immediately. Please note that I will not be responsible to pay any amount other than the actual usage and put you to prove in respect of the same in case you continue with your arbitrary, illegal and unauthorized manner of raising false bills.
