Global and International Trade

Aug. 1, 2019 Ma’am Melissa Azarcon

For today’s generation many technologies and global web systems are invented and transformed it to change the way we produce goods to market to distribute goods and services like online selling and online buying. Online business is developed when sellers and buyers can keep track of what is important to sellers, and sellers can discuss concerns with buyers. They can keep improving their services for more allocation of services and sending quality of the products. But not all are in the same boat for the online business because there are some challenges that online business has to face. Although internet is now an indispensable tool in developed countries and wealthy family, yet many people who live in underdeveloped nations have no access to internet that won’t be able to reach by the needy. This disparity limits the expansion of online business because online purchasing seems like only designed for rich people. How about the poor? Who won’t be able to reach the internet. In the contrary, like what they always say the business can grow more bigger using the money of the richest and who are have a bunch of moneys and this thing is important for a successful business in global urges. Ecommerce is however known as the electronic commerce or internet commerce, refers to the buying exchanging, selling of goods or services using the internet, and the transfer of money and data to execute these market transactions. While it is often used to the sale of physical products online, but it can also describe any kind of commercial transaction that is facilitated through the internet or be advertised by the internet ads and when it comes to paying and facilitating payments this will be paid by “bayad centers” or in any transactional express. Ecommerce is important when it comes to evolving making products easier to discover and purchase through online retailers and

marketplaces. And at the same time, it is independent for freelancers, small businesses, and large corporations have all benefited from ecommerce, which enables them to sell their goods and services at a scale that was not possible with traditional offline retail. As technology, e-commerce, and globalization become more intertwined, buyers and sellers are increasing their connectivity and to speed with which they conduct sales transactions. However, during a major economic correction e-commerce can affect demand patterns. And despite the contraction in the high-tech industry during the recent recession, firms have continued to enter and expand their markets presence in e-commerce, and buyers have increased the number of purchases made in online. E-commerce currently represents a very small share of overall commerce, but it is expected to continue to expand rapidly in a coming year. As e-commerce grows faster, we can see the impact on the overall economy. The primary route by which e-commerce will affect the economy at large is through its impact on productivity and inflation and patterns of demands. So the businesses and consumers that use e-commerce benefit from a reduction in costs in terms of the time and effort required to search for goods and services and to complete transactions in an easy way. This reduction in costs results in higher productivity. An even also the larger increase in economy-wide productivity levels may result from productivity gains by firms not engaged in e-commerce as they respond to this new source of competition. Continued expansion of e-commerce may also lead to downward pressure on inflation through greater competition, cost savings, and changes in price-setting behavior of sellers. It examines the economic factors that have contributed to the rapid growth of e-commerce and

assesses how the future growth of e-commerce may affect the overall economy. He concludes that if e-commerce continues to grow rapidly, it could lead to an increase in productivity growth and decreased of inflationary pressures that persist for every year.
