"We are responsible for what we are, and whatever we wish ourselves to be, we have the power to make ourselves” - Swami Vivekanand

This edition marks a change in the frequency and pattern of AID Delhi newsletters. On the same lines as AID Worldwide, AID Delhi will have 2 newsletters from now on. One will be a monthly update on progress, like this edition. The second will be very general and consist of articles and other useful stuff. It will be released on a quarterly basis. As always, it’s good to see the progress being made as we move forward. The most significant happening this month was the formation of a formal Executive Committee with roles and responsibilities clearly ear marked. It will ensure better accountability and a structured, professional approach to our work. A new project has also been added to AID Delhi’s Kitty – AID Prayas at Noida. Even though AID Delhi chapter has gained good momentum but the challenge lies in sustaining it. The next few months will be utilised to consolidate our existing projects while always looking for new avenues to expand. This edition is dedicated to the victims of the recent earthquake which rattled Pakistan & parts of India. The death toll is still rising as I write this editorial. Let’s take some time out to pray for the souls who continue to suffer and do whatever we can to help the victims of this tragedy. Comments / suggestions / criticism are welcomed, as always.
