[email protected] David Westberg brings a rich treasure trove of information for actors in their quest for success from a business standpoint of their craft. David has worked in all areas of the entertainment industry that affect actors: He began as an actor himself in 1967, and made a living solely in this capacity from 1972 to 1982. He then stepped behind the camera, working first for Actors Equity, then as an agent at rCM and TRIAD ARTISTS as well as casting associate at the Mark Taper Forum. Finally, in 1991, he formed DAVID WESTBERG MANAGEMENT and was CEO for that firm for fifteen years. He recently returned to acting, is writing a book on the business of entertainment and has become involved in AFTRA union work as welL M.A.C. Classes are designed to enable an actor to respond any audition situation instantly with strong, honest choices. Enrollment is strictly limited. The instructor will select the participants and members must be in good standing. Robin received his MFA in acting from USC where he studied under W. Duncan Ross, graduated from the Second City Training Center as well as the Improv Olympic in Chicago where he was directed by Del Close. Robin has also worked with Stella Adler in her master class then taught Improvisation for the Theater at the Stella Adler Conservatory. He is currently an instructor at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco where he teaches senior and graduate students, in addition to giving regular workshops for AFTRA. Robin is also an accomplished filmmaker/screenwriter whose independent film "Submission" premiered at the market at The Cannes Film festival May 2006.
