Added Credit -early Man

ADDED CREDIT Added credit! Ah – you remembered that you start your class grade at an 80% (a “C”). If you do all your work in class you can easily raise it to a “B” grade. But for the curious (desirous of more knowledge and understanding) an “A” requires added effort. For this unit, the added credit project and their point value is listed below. Select and do one or both. EARLY HUMANS 1) Time line – Create to scale (ask me what this means) a timeline of early human. List some of the attributes (important things human accomplished at that time) of each. Add some graphics (pictures or drawings) to illustrate some of the people. Use the web sites listed below (or any others you find) and the reading from class “Early Human” and do the following to compare and contrast the Neanderthals and the Cro-Magnan man.

 Complete an “Alike or Different” Chart (Venn Diagram). (2 points)  Write an essay comparing & contrasting the Neanderthal and Cro-Magnon men. You must include at least 3 of the 5 categories listed below: (6 points) Physical characteristics Areas inhabited (where did they live) Daily life Time of their existence (one where they on earth) Other things (whatever you decide is comparable)
