RATIONALE In line with the observance of the National Peace Consciousness Month, the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace Process (OPAPP) in coordination with the Provincial Government of Bohol will conduct a Peace Conference attended by rebel returnees and Peace Concert on September 17, 2006 in Loboc, Bohol. Assistant Secretary Encarnacion Blanco of the Department of the Interior and Local Government will be one of the guests on the occasion. During the visit, Asec. Blanco will confer with the Provincial Management of DILG-Bohol in order to discuss important matters relative to the implementation of the Department’s programs. Hence, this proposal.

OBJECTIVES It is expected that all the necessary preparations are undertaken for the success of the Visit of the Assistant Secretary. It is also expected that Asec Blanco will be oriented on how DILGBohol operate as a TACT Team.

METHODOLOGY A special conference with the DILG-Bohol Provincial Management will be conducted to discuss issues and concerns on office operations.

PARTICIPANTS The Assistant Secretary will be accompanied by two (2) members of her staff. They will be billeted at the Metro Centre Hotel, Tagbilaran City. To confer with the Assistant Secretary are ten (10) members of the OPD Personel.

DATE AND VENUE September 17 – 18, 2006 at the Metro Centre Hotel, Tagbilaran City.
