What is an acid? Acids are a group of chemicals.
• Taste sour • If they are strong acids, they may sting when you touch them. We call this CORROSIVE.
What is an alkali? Alkalis are a group of chemicals.
• Feel soapy. • If they are strong alkalis, they may burn the skin. We call this CAUSTIC.
Some chemicals are not acids and not alkalis. We call these NEUTRAL.
