Description of Internship Duties: The Lifetime Television Internship program strives to provide a sound television experience to outstanding undergraduate students with an interest in the cable industry. Description of Internship Duties: Fox Broadcasting has an internship position available for the 2005 Spring Semester. The student chosen for this position will work closely with FOX's sales and promotions departments to coordinate client/sponsor involvement in the 4th season of American Idol and other national promotions initiatives. Primary responsibilities: Work with FOX sales account executives and national sales promotions management to learn how marketing partnerships involving product integration and co-branded promotional media are created and executed. Facilitate approvals for client exposure (on-air and onsite) with the national promotions department in Los Angeles and production. Collaborate with creative services and special events to create and produce sponsor signage at venue and VIP party, American Idol premiums, and client ÒWelcomeÓ and ÒThank YouÓ gifts for the finale. Maintain status report and contact sheets. Internship starts in January 2005 and concludes in May 2005 and is for college credit ONLY. Students must be either juniors or seniors in college.
