TEACHING EXPERIENCES:

 Development and Implementation of Interns Morning Report – Integral part of Intern/Resident Teams

 Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine Medical Student Physical

Diagnosis Teaching Sessions – direct supervision of the actual history and physical; observation of the entire work-up of each student; assessing students oral presentations skills, critiquing student write-ups and completing evaluation forms on each student.

 "ECG BOOK": During my rotation in Cardiology department, I was exposed to huge

number of ECG with wide spectrum of electrocardiogram changes. I took this chance and stared collecting the most common and interesting ECGs'. 65 ECGs' were collected and it is not a big number but I believe it covers most of the cardiac abnormalities the internal medicine resident exposes to during his/her training. Under each ECG, a short clinical vignette presenting the real clinical scenario. Each ECG followed by the same ECG with answer at the bottom. This project was mentored by Dr. Michael Koch our staff cardiologist and Dr. Richard Christie our program director. The book is called “The ECG Workout”

 “Mega Code Training sessions ”: at the Case Western Reserve University,

Mt Sinai Skills and Simulation Center. Two full days of ACLS pulseless rhythm teaching and Mega code scenarios, pre-simulation session education, post session remediation, residents coverage arrangement and evaluation done by ACLS faculty and myself as main coordinator.

 "Weekly ECG, ABG & CXR session”: Facilitated this session every Wednesday for

45 minutes. Reading, interpretation and management of each ECG, ABG & CXR were discussed. These sessions mentored by Emmanuel Elueze, MD, Ph.D., FACP and Assistant Program Director.
