New Barrow Premises!! Barrow have recently moved into new premises (Victoria Hall) which offers 3 training rooms, kitchen, eating area and office space Each training room has access to computers, the internet and refreshments. The clients have settled well in each of their areas. Feedback is far better than the previous premises due to facilities offered, size and space being larger, with it being all on one corridor, instead of being segregated and isolated, each has its own direct telephone number. Clients and staff alike appear more positive with more interaction going on between the programms regarding sharing information and support. The site is central being in town close to bus routes, train station, job centre and external agencies which we dip in and out of. Job Centre Advisers have passed on comments: easier access location wise for clients, more direct contact to specific staff members. Advisers have stated they would like to visit the centre when A4e have settled, an open day is being planned in approximately 3-4 weeks.
