A modern teenager
Al Wright is a good example of a modern teenager. He’s 17 years old and he’s a British student. In the morning, he goes to school and he does his homework in the evening. In the afternoon, he does all kinds of activities, from sports to community work.
Being healthy and strong isn’t everything to him. He wants more. He wants to have good grades at school, so he studies hard. Al’s very popular at school and he has many friends. He plays guitar in a band, plays chess and has karate lessons.
He has a girlfriend, Rachel Hayes. She’s in Brazil right now, as an exchange student. He misses her very much. He chats with her on the Internet on the weekends.
This is Al’s routine: 1. Mon p.m. - run 2. Tue p.m. - practise with the band 3. Wed p.m. - work as a volunteer at the hospital 4. Thu p.m. - take karate lesson 5. Fri p.m. - play chess
What does he do.....
• on Mondays? • on Tuesdays? • on Wednesdays? • on Thursdays? • on Fridays? • on the weekends?
