== aurora steps overview== pre requirements1.windows setup(xpsp1,sp2,sp3) 2.tuning n hacking tools:resource hacker or r_tuner(must),compression tools(winrar,w'ace...7zip....),cabinet maker...u must d'load ny hex editor(flex hex editor s d best)...these r the basic needs.however u ll need several other tools...i ll tell u n following steps. n u need a plenty of time.....(1 months @ least) **************************************** ==steps== 1.first of all choose all the files that u want 2 modify like the bootscreen fle,logon files....and group them in seperate folders(dlls ,exes , inis in seperate folders). 2.modify all d files using rh...(strings,bmps,icons ...etc) 3.for 16 bit files...use notepad(for strings only) or f_hex edtr 4.to integrate program setups(viz mp12,iexporer8...etc....follow this--[if u r modifying sp1 or 2 u need to create an in file.i ve modified sp3...dfore...am telling foe sp3....1.insert all setups in d folder 'svcpack' and open svcpack.ini and write the name of the setup with proper extension below the line "setup hotfixes to run"...remember d setup shud not be msi file...(exe ll b best)...if u want to run a hidden console for apps...tell me].you may also replace existing setup files to add apps. 4.replace all modified files with the existing ones...check if ny files s missing. 5.for themes,transformation packs...etc.----[if d theme comes as setp exe files...add normally as stp files... if it s n a folder...u need to make a cab file...download cab maker.sp3 contain theme's cab files.create ur theme's cab file n drop it in i386 folder.then edit an .ini fle of ny theme(eg.vistaxp.ini) and rename it with the name of that theme's cab file....am not tellng u editing ini file coz it s a bit critical n different....but u will understand d pattern when u will c .cab and .ini file of sme themes.] 5.and sidebar..gadgets...etc wil come with setp...u know...(use vista's sidebar)...u may insert power toys..they r nice. 6.create a booable disk of he setup...thats it. this were the steps in extreme nutshell.....but there are very minor steps...much things cud b done...it depends upon ur will n mind...n ability n approach...i told u the most basic steps. and these all steps are devoid of programming...it will b 'sone pa suhaaga' if u know programming. === one thng more-to change boot screen there is 1 thing interesting...i wil tell u later...ask me. you may plz ask for ny steps\advice...or put suggessions @[email protected] thanks
