Career Planning: Take classes and choose experiences that will help you learn more about yourself, broaden your interests,  and give you insights into future career possibilities.  KUDER Career Planning  ­ See Counselors for help 4. Four Year Plan.  Print from this site and fill in classes keeping  in mind it can and probably will change throughout high  school but gives direction nonetheless.

5. Community & Extra­Curricular Activities­ Keep a record  throughout high school as those things will be quite useful on  scholarship applications, job applications and other  opportunities. 6. Be aware of High School courses required by some colleges and the Hathaway scholarship fund as well as athletic requirements of colleges and universities. 7. Grade Point average and class rank are absolutely crucial in  high school and it begins and counts as a freshman and goes  throughout high school.   8. Review study habits and if necessary develop them. 9. See your counselor often:  The counseling office has many  resources available as well as a sounding board to bounce  things off of and discuss options or get answers to concerns or  questions.
