Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
ِبِسْمِ الِ الرّحْمنِ الرّحِيم In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
ِسمَاء وَالطّارِق ّ وَال [86:1] I swear by the heaven and the comer by night;
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
َُومَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الطّارِق [86:2] And what will make you know what the comer by night is?
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
ُالنّجْ ُم الثّا ِقب [86:3] The star of piercing brightness;
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
ٌعلَ ْيهَا حَافِظ َ س لّمّا ٍ ْإِن كُلّ نَف [86:4] There is not a soul but over it is a keeper.
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
َفَ ْليَنظُ ِر الِْنسَانُ مِمّ خُلِق [86:5] So let man consider of what he is created:

ٍخلِقَ مِن مّاء دَافِق ُ [86:6] He is created of water pouring forth,
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
ِب وَالتّرَائِب ِ ج مِن َبيْنِ الصّ ْل ُ ُيَخْر [86:7] Coming from between the back and the ribs.
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
ٌعلَى رَجْعِ ِه لَقَادِر َ ُإِنّه [86:8] Most surely He is able to return him (to life).
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
ُيَوْ َم تُ ْبلَى السّرَائِر [86:9] On the day when hidden things shall be made manifest,
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
ٍفَمَا لَ ُه مِن ُقوّ ٍة وَلَ نَاصِر [86:10] He shall have neither strength nor helper.
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
ِسمَاء ذَاتِ الرّجْع ّ وَال [86:11] I swear by the rain giving heavens,
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
ِوَالَْرْضِ ذَاتِ الصّدْع [86:12] And the earth splitting (with plants);
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
ٌل َفصْل ٌ ِْإنّهُ لَقَو [86:13] Most surely it is a decisive word,
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
ِوَمَا هُ َو بِالْهَزْل [86:14] And it is no joke.
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
ِإنّهُمْ َيكِيدُونَ َكيْدًا [86:15] Surely they will make a scheme,
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
وََأكِي ُد كَيْدًا [86:16] And I (too) will make a scheme.
Surah at-Taariq (The Morning Star)
ن أَ ْمهِلْهُمْ رُ َويْدًا َ َفمَهّلِ ا ْلكَافِرِي [86:17] So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a while
