TAJUK: 7 Segment Display Driver

OBJEKTIF: Pelajar mesti boleh: 1. Membina litar untuk komponen paparan 7 ruas.

2. Memastikan nilai pada get litar. 3. Mengenali dan memahami jadual kebenaran.

BAHAN, PERALATAN DAN KELENGKAPAN: 1. Breadboard 2. Power Supply 3. IC 7447, 74192, dan paparan 7 ruas 4. LED 5. Wayar penyambung

GAMBAR RAJAH DAN JADUAL: Dirujuk pada helain pada prosedur.

ARAHAN AM: IC yang digunakan ialah BCD-to-seven-segment decoder / driver(74LS47). Masukan dibina daripada kod BCD. Untuk keluaran pula, 7 segment LED disambung kepada yang lain kepada driver. Kerja decoder ialah menukarkan 4-bit kod BCD kepada kod paparan 7 ruas dimana akan jalankan LED segment yang betul menunjukkan digit decimal yang betul.

PROSEDUR: Ujikaji 1: a. Litar 1 dibina. b. Suis data disetkan seperti dalam jadual 1 c. Keluaran dicatatkan di dalam jadual kebenaran

Kesimpulan: Dalam amali ini, kami dapat belajar mempelajari litar pemecah kod yang menggunakan masukan dengan kod BCD dan mengeluarkan keluaran digit decimal dengan menggunakan paparan 7 ruas. Keputusan yang ditunjukkan pada paparan 7 ruas hanya digit 0 hingga 9 dan digit 10 hingga 14 ditunjuk dengan simbol dan digit 15 pula tiada paparan. Soalan: 1. Seven segment display are either common-anode or common cathode. What does this mean?

Seven segment display common-anode means all the anode of LEDs in the seven segment are join together and seven segment display common-anode means all the cathode of LEDs in the seven segment are join together. 2. List down the active segments, by letter that form the following digits on a seven segment display: 5 , 0 i.

Active segment of display 5 is a,c,d,f,g

Active segment of display 0 is a,b,c,d,e,f

3. The 7447 IC is used to convert the 4-bit BCD code data into seven-segment

code data for common LEDs 4. Decoder IC that have active-LOW output is used to driver common cathode LED. (TRUE / FALSE)
