Artist Coloring Book For each artist featured in your Artist Coloring Book you will choose at least one of the coloring pages to complete. Use the original artwork to see how to best color the coloring page. For most of the artwork choices, the best media choice would be color pencils or crayons. Occasionally markers would be a good choice, particularly for modern art pieces. You will need to complete a “Featuring…” worksheet for the artist of the week. Choose 3 of the available artwork stamps to use for “other pieces of famous artwork”. Attach the stamps using glue stick, then fill in the blank with the name of the artwork, the museum or gallery where it is now (include the city and country) and date it was created. When giving an interesting fact about your artist, do not tell me how old they were when they died or their nationality, make it interesting. Style of art is usually an “ism” word like realism, impressionism, cubism. Do not tell me they were a painter. Note the due date for each artist listed below. You will make sure that your information is in your art binder, in the order listed below by the due date and stored in your class binder storage area. The artist information sheet will be first, then at least one coloring page for the artist. Each additional coloring page will be given extra credit if the information sheet earns a score of at least 70%. If your binder is not ready on the due date, no extra credit will be awarded. Points will be deducted if your pages are crumpled, and/or not in the proper order in the book. 4th Quarter Artists – 1.
