“STATIONARY HOOK HOPPER FEEDER: DESIGN, FABRICATION AND STUDY OF VARIOUS FACTORS AFFECTING IT”, Proceedings of National Conference on Emerging Trends in Mechanical Engineering (ETIME) 2008, BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore Projects



Solar Powered Vehicle : [2008]  Member of the team “ADVAY” and participated in South African Solar Challenge – 2008,  The Vehicle was judged 3rd overall.  Was responsible for the design and development of the vehicle chassis.



Stationary Hook Hopper Feeder : [ 2008 – present] Designed and fabricated a Stationary Hook Hopper Feeder which helps in proper and discrete feeding of small parts to the workstations in automatic assembly. The work was further carried out to study the influence of various parameters on the feed rate of the specimen parts.



FSAE : [Jan 2009 – July 2009]  Founder member of the team “Bullet Hawk Racing”, an initiative to design NSITs first Formula-1 Vehicle and compete at an international platform.  Responsible for “Mechanical and Structural Analysis” of the chassis of the vehicle.

Training



  

14 days Summer Training Program '07 [June `07] organized by IURS at Delhi on “Introduction to Robotics”. Learnt to programme the AVR microcontroller using BASCOM-AVR, and developed an AGV robot prototype. 2 months winter training (December 08 – January 09)at Suzuki Powertrain India Ltd. (SPIL) . 2 months summer training (June – July 09) at Indraprastha Power generation Corporation Ltd. (IPGCL). 4 days comprehensive “Solidworks” training program by IDEAS Design Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Achievements

   

Achieved Distinction in all subject in CBSE board examinations of both class Xth and class XIIth. Selected as Finalist for “National Bonn Talent Hunt – 2003”. Awarded for outstanding academic performance in Class Xth Exam by Sanskrit Bharti. Won 2nd Prize in Tryst, the IIT Delhi Technical fest, 2008, ”Junkyard wars”: It involved designing and fabricating a human powered 4 wheeled vehicle.

Other Participations include participation in Cultural and Technical fests of various engineering colleges. Hobbies: Solving Mathematical problems and puzzles, Reading, Dancing.
