5.17 Across The Universe, Part 1

Charlotte finding the John Locke: 2009 Video in 5.9. Miles gaining all the Smoke Monster's Memories in 5.10. Kaname and Daniel showing Sun the new DI Door Station in 5.15. 1) EXT. BARRACKS. DUSK Juliet, Sawyer, Harper and Walt are standing on the front porch of Juliet's house looking up into the mountains towards where the volcano is erupting and spewing out rocks, ash and magma over the island. Juliet's expression is one of complete worry as she turns to Sawyer who looks back at her speechless. They all stand there watching in silence until Harper puts her hand on Juliet's shoulder. Juliet turns around hastily and slaps Harper's arm away. Juliet flashes a hateful look towards Harper and Juliet rushes into the house. Sawyer and Harper follow. Juliet goes straight to the kitchen where she pulls out a bottle of DI Rum and just drinks from the bottle really fast. She slams it down on the counter and makes a "wow, that was rough" face then looks directly at the two of them. Juliet: Harper, get Rose and Walt and take them to the Number Station under the Arrow. It's the safest place. Harper: I think the Temple would be... Juliet cuts her off with authority. Juliet: Locke put me in charge, not you. Do as I say.... Sawyer... you and I are going back to the crash site. There maybe some kind of communication on it to the outside world. Sawyer: I thought we couldn't radio out. Juliet: Charlie turned the jamming signal off and with the Flame Station gone, it's our only hope. Juliet shoots a look at Harper to get a move on. Harper goes outside to get Walt.

Harper: Walt, let's go... She looks around, but Walt is gone. She runs back in the house. Harper: Walt's gone! Juliet: ...then worry about Rose... go! Harper runs up to Rose and gets her up. Juliet and Sawyer take off outside towards the Cargo Plane crash site. As they're walking through the field towards the Sonar Fence, Sawyer says: Sawyer: Well, mommy... you think this will work? At the mention of the word "mommy", Juliet stops and spins around to Sawyer and in a harsh tone says: Juliet: We... we are not the parents of Julian. Rachel is. Sawyer: Ok... ok, fine... I just don't think it's fair that I have a kid with you and we never even got to bump boots...that's all I'm sayin'... Juliet turns to Sawyer. She blushes and smiles as the two of them reach the fence and Juliet disarms it. They walk through and stand in front of the jungle as they can hear the monster in the distance flipping out because of the volcanic eruption. They pause, look at each other, then take off into the jungle. 2) INT. WHITE ELEVATOR. ABANDONNED BUILDING. TOKYO, JAPAN. MORNING. The camera is behind a blond woman with a short pixie style haircut and we can only see her from the back. About 10 seconds go by until the elevator stops at the bottom and the woman presses a button beside the doors. Just then, a little panel on the elevator wall slides open and there is a monitor as well as a camera behind it. The blonde woman turns towards the camera and in a French accent says: Woman: Madame Harté for Alvar Hanso.

The woman on the monitor pushes a button and the elevator doors open revealing the Tokyo Door Station. Camera still behind the woman, we watch from the back of her as she walks out of the elevator and through the entryway of the station. She looks to her left and we see Kaname and Daniel sitting with Sun and Ji Yeon. Sun looks at her and her eyes shift up and down looking at Madame Harté. Sun's eyes widen as the Madame pauses then continues walking towards the center of the station. As she passes the polar bear cages they roar at her, but she doesn't hesitate to continue. Just then, Richard Alpert/Valenzetti hastily walks up to her and greets her. He puts his hand out and she shakes it. Richard: Ah, Madame Harté! We've been expecting you! Right this way... Mr. Hanso is very excited to meet you. The two continue to walk through the station until the come it: A large metal machine with cables and computers all around it. The metal frame of the machine is circular in shape vertically. In the center is a smaller rectangular metal frame. It looks like a doorframe. Alvar Hanso, connected to an oxygen tank and various other tubes that connect to a medical device that sits in a cart he pulls along side him, walks out of his office across the station and up to Richard and Madame Harté. He lifts his hand to her and she takes it and kisses it. Alvar has a lustful look in his eye as he eyes her from top to bottom. The camera still behind Harté as she says: Madame Harté: More handsome than I expected.... Alvar Hanso: Enzo, your friend is the most beautiful creature I've ever laid my eyes upon... Richard: I told you, you wouldn't be disappointed. Alvar takes the hand of the woman as they walk back to his office and the flash sound begins... 3) --FLASH-- INT. HUNTING LODGE. WASHINGTON STATE. DAY. The camera is focused on the front desk of a hunting lodge, which is very rustic and has wooden accents and a fireplace in the entryway, as we see Sawyer, with short hair, and a blonde woman walk through the front doors. The two make their way inside and they shake off the fresh snow from their coats and hats. Sawyer shakes the snow all over the blonde woman and she giggles and playfully hits him. They both have hunting rifles and they sit them down against the front counter. The two of them walk off to the side and Sawyer says: Sawyer: I need to use the little boy's room... I'll be back in a minute, my Madame (he says in a lame French accent). Blonde Woman:

Ok! (giggles) Sawyer disappears inside the bathroom. Just then, Kate and her father, Sam Austen, walk into the lodge. Kate looks noticeably younger, late teens perhaps, as her and Sam walk to the front counter where Kate sits her rifle down next to the two that Sawyer and his woman sat theirs. Kate turns to Sam and says: Kate: I should probably call mom, huh? Sam: Yeah, you know how she gets... Kate turns to the front desk manager and says: Kate: Excuse me, do you have pay phones? Manager: Right over there, miss... Kate walks off to the phones leaving Sam behind as he watches a football game on the TV above the desk. The camera focuses on Kate as she dials and we hear the phone ringing. Kate: Mom? You there? Diane: Hey, sugar... how's the trip? Kate: I don't know, dad's been acting kind of strange... In the background you can hear Wayne, the man Kate killed who turned out to be her biological father, as he does something that makes Diane giggle while on the phone. Kate: Ug, mom... seriously... he's a pig. Diane: I don't need another lecture about how you hate your father, Kate. Kate:

He's not my father!!! With that, Kate slams the phone down and makes her way back to her father at the front desk. She looks noticeably upset and Sam sees this. He quickly flings his gun on his back and reaches to pick up Kate's gun that was leaning against the desk. When he reaches for it, there is only one gun there now. He grabs it as Kate gets closer to him. Sam: Wayne, again, huh? Kate: Yeah... let's just go... come on. Sam puts his arm around Kate and the two of them make their way out of the lodge. The camera fades to black. 4) --FLASH CON'T-- EXT. BACKWOODS. WASHINGTON STATE. DAY. Kate and Sam are walking through the snowy woods as Sam turns and sees that Kate is still upset about the comment her mother made to her. Sam looks down and thinks for a moment, then looks back up at Kate. Sam: Katie... there's something you should know... about Wayne. Kate: Wh.. what? Sam: Well, he's not really... who you think he is. Kate: Yeah, I know, dad... he's not a good guy and mom shouldn't be with him... Sam: Well, that... and he uh... Just then, about 20 feet away, Kate sees it: A huge brown bear walks right out into their path. Kate turns to Sam with a bit of fear in her eye and she runs behind a tree. Sam slowly reaches around to get his gun from his back, but it's caught on his coat and he can't seem to get it free. Kate notices this and whisper-yells: Kate: Dad! My gun..., I've got a clean shot!

The bear turns towards the two of them and snarls and Sam's expression shows urgency. He take's Kate's gun, which he still has from the lodge, and carefully throws it towards her. Kate reaches out to grab it and she catches it in mid air. She cocks the rifle and she aims it towards the bear, but there is a tree blocking the shot. She moves a little bit to get a better angle, but as she does this, she looses her footing and falls flat on her back. The gun flies in the air and it lands, barrel pointing directly at her head, as she looks at it and when the gun hits the ground the trigger is snapped back. In slow motion now, Kate realizes that its going to shoot her in the head and she closes her eyes as tight as she possibly can, and then the SNAP! Nothing happens. Kate opens her eyes and she reaches for the gun. She picks it up and gets to her feet. Suddenly we hear a BANG!!! Kate jumps back. The camera pans to Sam and we see he just shot at the bear, which is now running away. Sam rushes over to Kate. Sam: Katie! You all right?! Kate: Yeah... I think so... Sam: Damn it, Kate! You need to be more careful!! Kate nods, she looks down at the gun and she realizes something. Kate: Dad... this isn't my gun... this gun wasn't loaded. Sam looks at the gun and Kate looks up at him with a look of confusion, but relief as the flash sound begins... 5) INT. DOOR STATION. TOKYO, JAPAN. DAY. Hanso eases down in his chair as he says: Hanso: Well, Madame... it has been a while since I've... well... you know. Madame Harté turns and begins to close the door, but before she closes it the whole way, she looks out towards Richard who is watching the office in anticipation. The camera turns on Madame Harté's face as she says: Madame Harté: Well, you're in for a wild ride, Mr. Hanso. The camera is fully focused on the woman's face and it is revealed that it is Kate!! She is wearing a blonde wig and faking the accent as the music builds and:

LOST 6) EXT. JUNGLE. DUSK. Harper and Rose are making their way through the jungle as Rose's nose starts to gush blood. Harper stops and turns towards Rose, who has collapsed on the ground, and shakes her head. Harper: Damn it!! Harper bends down and begins doing her best to lift Rose up over her arm. The ground begins to violently shake and Harper looks upwards into the sky and sees the volcano is starting to intensify. Just then, Vincent runs out into the path and Harper notices him. Right behind Vincent is Amelia and a group of Redshirt other's including crash survivor John and Reuben. Harper smiles as she screams: Harper: Amelia! Thank God! Come on, I need all of your help with her! Amelia: You heard the woman, guys... The guys begin to lift Rose and Amelia turns to Harper. Harper: Amelia, you've been here for a while now... has this ever happened before? Amelia: Just once... a long time ago. Harper: Well, what can we do?! Amelia: There's only one thing to do, dear... move the island off this fault line. Harper doesn't look to happy about this. She looks down then at Amelia. Harper: Well, who's gonna do that?

Amelia smiles a sincere smile at Harper as if Harper already knows the answer to her own question. They all start towards the Arrow Station as the men carry Rose and Harper leads the way. 7) INT. ORCHID STATION. DUSK. Charlotte, Jin and Annie are standing around Widmore's passed out body on the floor. Charlotte looks at Annie and hugs her. Charlotte: I'm so glad you're ok, mum. I was so worried about you... Annie: I'm fine, honey. Charlotte: I thought you died on Flight 800. Annie: Ben made it look that way, didn't he. Charlotte: Uncle Charles used me... Annie: It's not your fault, Charlotte. The station begins to shake again and Jin looks around. He looks directly at Charlotte and says: Jin: What do we do? Charlotte thinks about this, then it dawns on her... Charlotte: The video... the one addressed to Locke from Daniel. Charlotte opens her bag and pulls the video out. Charlotte: Look, it says Locke: 2009. Before Richard left, he figured out that it's January 1st, 2009. That must be today's date! Jin:

So? Charlotte: The video! Daniel wanted us to see it, maybe it can tell us what to do!... We need to get back to the Number Station, there were tape players and monitors all through the office there. Charlotte puts the tape back in her bag, but looks down at Widmore. Jin: What about him? Annie: Tie him up... I'll stay here and watch him. Charlotte: No, mum, I'm not leaving you... Annie: Char, you need to do this. You can help save everyone here... now go! I got him! Charlotte hugs her mom again and tears are forming in her eyes. Charlotte: I love you. Annie: I love you too, baby. Jin and Charlotte take off down the hall towards the elevators. 8) INT. DOOR STATION. TOKYO, JAPAN. DAY. There are easily 40+ DI workers milling about the station. Daniel and Kaname are sitting at a table with Sun and Ji Yeon. They're all waiting around for something and you can tell because they all look very nervous. Sun turns to Daniel and says in a slightly disgusted way: Sun: Who orders a prostitute an hour before he plans on teleporting an entire team of scientists across the globe? Kaname: Can you blame the guy? If something goes wrong, this is his last chance...

With that said, Kaname looks at Sun and suggestively winks at her. Sun: Not a chance in hell. Daniel keeps looking down at his watch. The date on the watch says 1, January, 2009. Kaname: What do you keep looking at that for? Daniel: In exactly an hour and eight minutes... How can I make this simple to understand.... the island time and, well... the outside world times will finally be at an exact match. It's our only open window to get back. Sun: I sure hope Kate knows what she's doing... The camera pans to the inside of Hanso's office. Kate, still in the fake wig, walks up to Hanso's desk and sits on the corner of it as she crosses her legs. She bends down over Hanso and puts her finger under his chin as she says in a sexy way: Kate: What is it you want, Mr. Hanso? Hanso: Like I said before, it has been a very long time... Kate: Then how about this... Kate takes a blindfold out of her bra and ties it snuggly over Hanso's eyes. He giggles and says: Hanso: Oh, I like this! With the blindfold on Hanso, Kate rips her wig off and grabs a needle out of her knee high socks. She taps it so that the air goes to the top and with a forceful blow, she jabs it into Hanso's neck. He feels this and he immediately rips the blindfold off and looks at Kate with a horrible expression. Hanso: What the hell... who are you?!

Kate: I'm Kate Austen... you crossed the line when you played Hawking against my friends, Alvar... Hanso gasps for air before he stares at Kate with a dreadful look then passes out. Kate rushes to get Hanso's keys out of his pocket and she races to the door and opens it a crack. She runs back to Hanso's filing cabinets and starts to unlock them. Richard sneakily walks in so that no one in the station sees him. He closes the door and says: Richard: It wouldn't be in there... over here! Richard goes to the opposite wall and pulls a bunch of books off the bookshelf. Behind them is a safe with a keyhole and some sort of camera on the outside. Kate runs over and looks impressed. Richard turns to Kate and says: Richard: It's an eye scanner... we'll need his eyes... The camera focuses on the passed out Hanso as the music builds. 9) INT. ABANDONNED OFFICE ABOVE DOOR STATION. TOKYO, JAPAN. DAY. In the same office where Sun encountered Daniel and Kaname the day before, Jack, Aaron, Ben, Hurley, Sayid and Desmond are waiting patiently. Jack: What's taking them so damn long? Ben: We still have over 30 minutes... patience is a virtue, Jack. Hurley: I never thought I'd say this... but the island is sounding pretty good to me right about now... Desmond looks uneasy and a bit silent. Sayid is on the other side of the room not even looking at anyone. Jack notices this and walks over to Sayid. Jack: Hey, man. Sayid: Jack.

Jack: I'm real sorry about yesterday. Sayid: No apologies necessary, Jack. We were tricked... I was foolish enough to not even realize it. Jack: Sayid... Abaddon promised you that he'd protect Nadia. What were you supposed to do? Sayid: I should never have turned my back on my friends... for that, I am ashamed. Jack: You aren't turning your back on them... you're leaving the woman you've searched for, for over 15 years to be with... you're leaving her behind to save them. Sayid, I admire you, man. Sayid flashes a modest smile and turns to Jack. Jack puts his hand out and Sayid takes it. They shake and they give each other a "bro" hug. Across the room, Ben is talking with Desmond. Ben: Hello, Desmond. Desmond just looks at him and looks away. Ben: All those years you were down in that hatch... I knew you were there, you know. Desmond: That's supposed to comfort me, brotha? Ben: No... I suppose not, but I knew you were doing something that you, Desmond Hume, and only you could do. Desmond looks up at Ben wondering where he's going with this. Ben: What you were doing down there, was more important than you will ever know... and the day that Locke stopped pushing that button... that was the day this all began. You saved us all when you turned that key, Desmond. For that, you are a hero. Between you and me, there is no need for you to help us anymore... you can walk right out of here right now.

Desmond: Ay, what is this? Some kind of trick... to make sure everything goes according to your plan... I'm not buying it, brotha... Ben: No, they all have to go back... you, well... you've done your job. You see Desmond, something that Hawking didn't tell you... there are the factors of Valenzetti's equation... the ones that can change the future... (Ben points to the others in the room) ... then there are those who are the protectors of them. You, you were the ultimate protector. You saved them all. You played your part. The camera focuses on Desmond's face as the flash sound begins... 10) --FLASH-- INT. HUNTING LODGE. WASHINGTON STATE. DAY. The scene picks up from the first flash at the point where Sawyer is walking into the bathroom. He gets inside and walks to the sinks where he pulls out an old mid-90's cell phone. He dials and someone picks up. It is Hibbs! Sawyer: Hibbs... there's a problem. Hibbs: What's that Sawbucks? Sawyer: I think she knows what I'm up to... Hibbs: How? Sawyer: Well... she caught me going through her bankbook at the hotel earlier. Hibbs: Well, then maybe you shouldn't be around her when she has a loaded weapon, smart guy... why are you hunting anyway? Sawyer: She likes killing things, I don't know, man! It was her idea! Hibbs: Well, for your sake, I hope that's not true.

Sawyer: I didn't load either of our guns, just incase... that bimbo won't have a chance to off me. Hibbs: Going into the woods without a loaded weapon isn't exactly the smartest move... come on James, use your head. Sawyer: .......yeah. Hibbs: Just finish the job, Sawyer. I've got a new scam I'm working on for you when you get back... big money! Investments! Sawyer: Right-O, boss.... Sawyer hangs up and preps himself in the mirror. He practices fake smiles, but in the end, he shows how unhappy he is with this situation. He walks back out of the bathroom and up to the woman. He flashes a fake smile at her and says: Sawyer: Ready princess? The woman shakes her head "yes" and Sawyer walks back up to the front desk to collect their guns. He sees a third gun sitting there. He looks across the lodge and he sees Kate, from behind, talking on the phone. He then looks up and sees Sam watching the game and not paying attention. With a shifty look on his face, Sawyer grab's Kate's gun and quickly opens the barrel to see if it's loaded and it is. He closes it, then he grabs the blonde woman's gun and hands it to her. He then checks one more time to make sure no one is looking as he grab's Kate's loaded gun, leaving his unloaded one behind for Sam to later grab without realizing. As Sawyer walks out of the lodge with Kate's loaded gun, the flash sound begins.... 11) EXT. CARGO PLANE CRASH. DUSK. In the distance we can see the volcano starting to get out of control. Sawyer is trailing Juliet, who is speed walking her way to the crash. Sawyer says: Sawyer: So, what was up with you and the doc, doc? Juliet: What? Sawyer:

Don't play stupid with me, I could see how you felt about Dr. Feelgood before he left you behind... Juliet: You're ridiculous, you know that James.... over there! (she points) We're here. Sawyer: So, did you and the good doctor have a fling?... I guess what I'm asking is... did you two play doctor? Sawyer says "doctor" in a very sexual way. Juliet stops and turns around to look at Sawyer in the eye. With a cute smile she says: Juliet: Why? Why would you possibly care? Wait... because if I take Jack away from Kate, then you get her all to yourself... Sawyer gives her a dirty look. Sawyer: No, I just want to know who my baby momma's sleeping around with is all.... Juliet smiles then reassuringly says: Juliet: They're gone now James... you have nothing to worry about. Sawyer: You can never be so sure.... With that, Juliet turns and grabs Sawyer by the sides of the head and plants a big long kiss on him. He pulls back and he looks at her, but with a serious face. She looks at him back, unsure of what just happened. Juliet: It uh... it's the alcohol... Sawyer flashes a big cocky smile and says: Sawyer: Sure... they always blame the alcohol.... Juliet spins around turning her back on Sawyer and flashes a blushing smile as she continues towards the plane. They finally reach it and Juliet runs up towards the cockpit. Sawyer notices the wooden crate that Locke's body is in. He walks over and lifts the lid. The

camera cuts to Juliet in the cockpit. She picks up the radio and tries it, but it doesn't work. In the background we hear Sawyer yell: Sawyer: Uh, I think you should come take a look at this!! .... Now!! Juliet runs over from the cockpit and to the crate. Sawyer nods downwards towards the inside. Juliet looks down and her expression changes greatly. The camera pans down to the crate and Locke's body is gone! She looks back up at Sawyer with a dismal expression as the music builds and the camera abruptly cuts to black. --commercial-12) EXT. OCEAN. DUSK. Christine and Frank are on Giovanni's fishing boat as they pull up close to the Hydra Island. Christine jumps off the deck of the boat into the shallow water of the shore. Christine: Throw it down! Frank throws down a rope to Christine and she grabs it. She runs up the beach and ties it to a tree. She yells back to Frank: Christine: It's tied down! Frank jumps down off the boat and walks up to Christine as he looks up over the second island. He looks around and he has a bit of a worried expression on his face. Christine notices this. Christine: What's wrong? Frank: I just... I don't like the looks of this place. Christine: I think they're, you know... the bad guys, all on the other island. Just then there is another explosion from the volcano seen across the ocean in the distance. Frank: Yeah, so are our people...

Christine: Well, come on... maybe there's some sort of communication to the outside here. Walt said they had rooms here, right? Frank: Yeah... brainwashing rooms... Christine: Which is exactly what we need to find. Christine starts walking inland towards the jungle. Frank doesn't budge. She turns around and says: Christine: Come on! Frank: We're not armed... we have no weapons! Christine: Sure we do.... Christine lifts up her shirt and there is a gun snuggly nestled in her waistband. She winks and nods her head in a "let's go" kind of way. Frank sighs and he starts off into the jungle of the Hydra Island with Christine. 13) EXT. JUNGLE. DUSK. Sawyer and Juliet are still standing at the now empty crate where Locke's body was. Juliet turns to Sawyer as there are explosions from the volcano in the background. Juliet: We don't have much time... where did you say Richard was going? Sawyer: The Orchid. Juliet: I need to get there... maybe he knows something we can do. Sawyer: Let's go! Juliet:

No, you make sure you get everyone to the Number Station, James... I'll be ok. Sawyer: Are you crazy? That smoke thing is out there.... Juliet: And what would you do to protect me from the Smoke Monster? Sawyer looks down and Juliet puts her hand on his face. Juliet: I'll be fine... now go! Help everyone! Sawyer: You get your ass there as soon as you can... got it? Juliet: Sure thing. Sawyer turns back around. Sawyer: One thing. Juliet: What's that? Sawyer: What's the Number Station? Juliet: Head north... it's under the Arrow. Sawyer turns and heads off towards the Arrow Station as Juliet heads off into the jungle towards the Orchid. As Sawyer is walking back he sees someone on the trail about 20 feet in front of him. Sawyer: Hey! The person slowly turns around and it is Miles. He doesn't seem himself, more so than when we saw him when he tried to kill Locke. He looks out of it.

Sawyer: Hey... you all right?! Miles turns towards Sawyer and says: Miles: I think so... Sawyer: What's wrong? Miles: Something big is about to happen... I can remember it, faintly from when the Smoke Monster showed me all it's memories from flashing people... something bad is gonna happen tonight. The man, the man with the tubes... he's gonna do something bad. Sawyer looks at Miles out of the side of his eye with a look of question and intrigue. He shrugs it off as the volcano rumbles again. He throws his arm around Miles and nudges him along. Sawyer: Come on, we got to get a move on... The camera watches the two of them head off together... The camera cuts to Juliet who is walking through the thick of the jungle towards the Orchid. She comes to a log and as she is crawling over it, she loses her balance and falls flat on her back. She closes her eyes and grunts in pain and when she opens her eyes back up, she sees him: Goodwin is standing over her! Juliet blinks a few times and she looks absolutely confused and shocked. Juliet: Goodwin?! Goodwin doesn't say anything, instead, he just walks off down the trail into the jungle. Juliet jumps to her feet and looks around, but there is nothing but jungle and Goodwin there. She looks forward as Goodwin just continues to walk away from her. Juliet: Goodwin! Hang on! Juliet takes off after Goodwin as the camera cuts to: 14) EXT. JUNGLE. DUSK. Charlotte and Jin are running through the jungle as the "chase" music plays. The camera keeps cutting through the trees in a frantic manner with its focus on the two of them dodging branches and jumping logs. The camera focuses on Jin as the flash sound begins...

15) --FLASH-- SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA. OUTSIDE HOTEL. NIGHT. Jin is standing outside of the hotel that he used to work at before he got involved with Paik. He keeps looking around as if he is waiting for someone. Finally, a man in a white suit walks up to Jin and hands him a piece of paper. The words are in Korean and the camera shows the note. Jin looks up quickly at the man who handed it to him. Jin says: Jin: 이래도되는 겁니까? ST: Are you sure about this? Man: 위협은 한 사람의 내부에 의해 도청됐다. ST: The threat was intercepted by one of our men on the inside. Jin looks down, visably upset about this. He puts his hand on his side where there is a gun holster. He looks back up at the man. Jin: 그가 호텔에있어? ST: And he's in the hotel? Man: 사무 환경의 안전을 위해 가볍게, 진 위협을받지 않는다. 그 때 그의 딸 앞에서 그를 이길 댓가를 지불하게하고 싶어. ST: The Secretary for Environmental Safety doesn't take threats lightly, Jin. He wants to make you pay for when you beat him in front of his daughter. Jin: 그래서 집어 넣어 정당화은 백남준에 나가 가족을 때렸어요? ST: So that justifies him to put a hit out on the Paik family? Man: 당연하지. 난 당신을 얻을 전에 그곳에 살인 청부 업 자지 않는 것이 좋습니다. ST: Of course not. I suggest you get in there before the hitman does. Jin nods and he covers up his gun before he turns and the doorman lets him into the building. The camera cuts to Jin in the restaurant of the hotel as he comes out the elevator. He turns the corner and passes the hostess and makes his way into the dining area. He looks around and he sees Mr. Paik sitting at a table with Mrs. Paik and a group of friends. Jin turns and hides on the other side of a column and he looks across the restaurant towards the windows. He sees a man, dressed in an all black suit and he is staring at the Paiks. Jin sees this and he turns the corner where he pulls out his gun and cocks it. When he turns back around the corner, the Paiks are getting up from the table and walking towards the elevators. The man in all black gets up and he walks right past Jin, who is hiding his face in a menu, and into the stairwell. Jin puts the menu down and follows the man up the stairs. On the 15th floor, the man gets out of the stairwell and walks past the

elevators. The doors have just closed. The hitman makes his way down the hall to room #1523, whose door has just slammed shut. The hitman backs up and he is about the kick the door in, but right before he does, there is a gun stuck to the side of his head. The hitman turns his head and Jin is holding the gun to it. Jin: 위로 문에서. ST: Back away from the door. The man backs away, but not before he elbows Jin in the neck. Jin doubles over holding his neck as the hitman then knees Jin in the head! Jin falls over and kicks the man's legs out from under him. The hitman reaches for Jin's gun, but Jin knocks it out of his hands and punches the guy in the face. The man appears to be knocked out as Jin begins to drag him down the hall. Jin gets the man down the hall and to the elevators. Jin pushes the down button on the elevator, but the man suddenly opens his eyes and back-kicks himself into an upright standing position and pulls his gun on Jin. Jin stands there motionless. Just then, another set of elevator doors open and the hitman is distracted and turns his head. Jin grabs the gun out of his hands and WISP! The gun has a silencer on it. Jin shot the guy in the chest. Quickly, Jin shoves the guys body into the empty elevator that Jin pushed the button for and he hits the button for floor #43. Jin backs out of the elevator just as the other elevator's doors fully open and out walks Mr. and Mrs. Paik. Jin narrowly turns and ducks into the stairwell with his back to the door. He checks for his gun, but it's not there. He pokes his head back into the hallway to look for it, but all he sees is Mr. and Mrs. Paik walking down the hallway towards their room as the music builds and the flash sound begins.... 14) --END OF FLASH-- EXT. OUTSIDE ARROW. DUSK. Jin and Charlotte reach the outside of the Arrow Station at the same time that Harper, Amelia and the Redshirts carrying Rose do. Charlotte turns to Harper. Charlotte: What the bloody hell's happening? Harper: Well, (she points in the sky towards the volcano) there's a volcano erupting.... Charlotte looks at Harper like she is a smartass and just then, out of nowhere, the volcano lets out a massive BANG and a ton of the mountain is blown off into the sky. They all stand there in silence looking upwards and the camera pans up to watch as the debris beings falling towards the ground. Charlotte starts slowly backing up and Harper grabs Amelia's arm. Rose wakes up at this very moment and stands up. She notices everyone looking upwards so she does too as she backs up towards the station. Charlotte and Jin's eyes get huge as they fumble backwards towards the door and finally Jin screams: Jin: 들어오는!!!! ST: INCOMING!!!!

Redshirt Reuben looks at Jin as if he doesn't understand and just as he turns his head a massive chunk of rock falls from the sky landing directly on top of him flattening him!!!! SQUISH!! Jin grabs Charlotte and Rose and everyone starts running towards the Arrow Station as fast as they can, but on the way more chunks of debris fall and another huge piece of rock hits Redshirt John knocking him to the ground! He scrambles and starts to get up, but before he has a chance a boulder lands right on top of him killing him instantly, THUD!!! The rest of the group finally piles into the station and once they get inside a good many of them fall to the ground as the sound of falling debris hits the roof over them. Rose, very winded, turns and looks back at Harper as she says: Rose: Can't a girl get a break... The camera focuses on Rose as it quickly cuts to: 15) INT. WHITE ELEVATOR. ABANDONNED BUILDING. TOKYO, JAPAN. MORNING Sayid, Jack, Ben, Desmond, and Hurley holding Aaron are in the elevator as it finally hits the bottom. They are armed to the tilt with high powered guns. Even Hurley has a gun tucked in his pants. They all look at each other with mixed reactions as the elevator doors slide open. On the outside of the elevator is Daniel, who just swiped his card to open the doors. With one word: Jack: Go!!! The guys all run out of the elevator with their weapons drawn screaming: Sayid: Get on the ground!!! Desmond: All of you, down!!! Ben, without saying a word, turns and notices one of the employees reaching for the alarm on the wall and shoots him: BANG, BANG!! The man slumps to the floor. Hurley rushes over to Sun and Ji Yeon and throws his arm around them. The men all spread out, still screaming for everyone to get down. All the DI employees are screaming and hitting the floor as the camera cuts to Hanso's office. Richard is holding Hanso, still connected to his breathing tubes, up to the eye scanner as Kate lifts his eyelids for the machine to read them. Richard notices this isn't working because Hanso's eyes are rolled back in his head. Richard: Just touch his eyes, pull them down! Kate: You've got to be kidding right?

Richard: (very seriously) No. Kate attempts to maneuver his eye down, but it's not working. Without a word, Richard drops Hanso to the floor. Just then Jack comes in and Kate turns to him. She rushes up and hugs him. Jack: You ok? Kate: Yeah... Aaron? Jack: Hurley's got him... In the background we see Richard bending over Hanso's head and we hear a SQUISH. Kate turns around quickly as Richard stands up and holds something up to the scanner and turns the key with his other hand. The safe opens. Kate: You didn't just.... Richard pulls out a piece of paper and another, much larger, key. He turns to Jack and Kate, who has a disgusted look on her face, as he throws Hanso's eye down across the room. Richard: Got it! The music builds to a high point and abruptly goes to black. ---commercial--16) INT. ARROW STATION. NIGHT. Rose, Charlotte, Amelia, Harper, Jin and a few leftover Redshirts are inside the station just as Sawyer and Miles bust in the door. Sawyer looks around at everyone just standing there in shock of what just happened. Sawyer: Is everyone ok?! Charlotte: Barely...

Sawyer: Well, what the hell ya'll waiting for?! Let's get underground! Harper goes over and opens the hatch to the ladder and beings climbing down. The scene starts to play out as it did in Hurley's flash with Rose in 5.7 "...By Reason of Insanity." Everyone starts quickly making their way down the ladder. Miles and Sawyer are first and Miles turns to Sawyer and says: Miles: You really think this is the best place to go?! Sawyer: Captain Morgan told us to head north and this is the only place to go! Harper and Rose make it down the ladder. Rose isn't looking too good. She is bleeding from her nose and left ear and can barely walk. Harper sits her down against the wall. Sawyer: How is she? Harper: I don't know, but if this doesn't kill her, what's going on out there will! The camera focuses on Rose as the entire station begins to shake out of control. The lights flicker and old papers fall off of the tables throughout the room. The camera pans down and we see the paper that Hurley found in his flash to this scene. It reads: "Test Subject 154: Leonard Simms." Just then, Charlotte makes her way down the ladder with Jin. She immediately rushes straight to the office where she originally found the tape in 5.9. Sawyer sees her and follows her and Jin into the room. Charlotte pulls the video tape out of her bag and begins searching for a tape player to put it in. Sawyer looks at her and sarcastically says: Sawyer: I hardly think this is the time or place to hold a movie night... Charlotte: This tape was from Daniel in the past. He told me where to find it by putting a note on Jin and sending him back... Sawyer looks ultimately confused and he turns to Jin for a confirmation. Jin, doubting the logic in that statement himself, nods and says: Jin: It's true.

Charlotte: Damn it! Help me! The three of them begin looking around for a place to put the tape in to play it. 17) INT. ORCHID STATION. NIGHT. Annie is sitting in the Orchid and she is going through some of her old papers in her desk. The camera pans down to "Jeanette: Stage 3" and there is a photo of her strapped to the very chair that has caused her so much pain in the past. Widmore, still tied up, is sitting across the room against the wall. He smugly says: Widmore: They were truly horrible weren't they? Annie looks over at Widmore and gives him a nasty look as he continues: Widmore: You know, out of anyone, you have the power to go back... to stop it all from happening. Annie gets up from her chair and walks over to Widmore. She stands in-front of him looking down and suddenly she kicks him in the side as hard as she can. Widmore doubles over with pain. Annie: You've the tongue of a snake, Charles, you always have... It's hard to believe that you and David share a mother... Widmore: (cough) It's because of you, you know... that all of this happened. Annie: How do you figure that? Widmore: When you left Benjamin... when you had Charlotte and left Benjamin, you broke his heart. His mother had died and he felt responsible... then you left and he felt he pushed you away... he was a broken child and that, my dear, is why he sought friendship with me... Annie looks down as if she is sorry she hurt Ben. Annie: I stopped loving Ben the day he told me about his alliance with the hostiles. His plan to overthrow the Initiative... it was sick. Widmore:

Regardless, you leaving set it all in motion. He framed me and with me gone there was no one to protect them from Ben's hate. This is all your fault, Annie... but you can go back. You can go back and change it all. You have the gift... Annie turns and looks at the room with the chair she hates. 18) INT. DOOR STATION. TOKYO, JAPAN. DAY. Jack, Kate and Richard come out of Hanso's office. The rest of the group runs over to them as Richard holds up the needed material to get back to the island. Richard looks at Daniel. Richard: Well... I guess now it's up to your video. Daniel: I... I hope Charlotte has enough sense to have watched it. Jack: Why? What does she need to do? Kaname: She needs to make it possible... Sayid: Make what possible? I thought we had everything we need. Daniel looks down at his watch. It says 4:08. He looks back up at the group. Daniel: We've got 23 minutes to get back. If Charlotte hasn't opened that door... Kate: What door? Sayid looks across the room and notices the Door Station symbol. He looks back at Kate and says: Sayid: The door that opened up to the wall of rock I found in the decoy village when I was searching for Michael... The camera cuts to: 19) INT. NUMBER STATION OFFICE. NIGHT.

Charlotte, Jin and Sawyer are fumbling around trying to find a tape player, then suddenly, Jin spots it. Jin: Here! Jin takes the tape out of Charlotte's hands and puts it into the player. Charlotte hits play and the tape begins. The tape: The tape starts with the camera recording a chair and a wall. Daniel then walks around the camera and sits down. He looks rather sweaty and nervous as he wipes a trail of blood away from his nose. He looks directly into the camera and says: Daniel: Hi... I'm uh... well, John, I think we met briefly when Jack was about to blow your head off back at the cockpit of the plane you crashed on. That was... um, almost exactly four years ago. It's New Year's Eve, 2008... well, actually... according to Pierre, it's sometime in 1988, but that's not the point... the point is, tomorrow, I will be bringing back everyone who left the island. I met Richard back in 2005 and he told me that you were going to... wait a minute... why did I address this to you when I already know that you left the island and won't see it? (nervous laugh and he puts a his fingers to his head like a gun) Pow... my memory... it's not well....Oh well, whoever sees this tape... Sawyer and Jin look at eachother as if Daniel is a babbling idiot. The tape continues: Daniel: ... hopefully you, Charlotte (Daniel blushes), you need to do exactly what I say. These people need to come back in order to stop the Dharma Initiative, the New Dharma Initiative, from coming to the island and massacring all of you. They have plans to take the island back in time... I know, it sounds ridiculous, but they want to take it back in time to before they were all purged. They want to make things right... and to do that, they need to kill every one of you. Charlotte turns to Sawyer and her mouth drops open. Daniel: They will be doing this on January 1st, 2009 at ... well, the time doesn't matter because we are going to top them. To do that, though, we need you to open your side of the porthole on the island. Now listen, this is very... very important. You need to find that porthole... it's a station that looks like this: (he holds up a very bad drawing of a door). You need to find that and blast away the rock behind the door. The old DI built that a long time ago in anticipation to do this experiment sooner, but the experiment was pulled because it was too dangerous. Instead of destroying it, they covered it up with rocks... you need to move those rocks so we can come through. You need to do this before January 1st, 2009 because if you don't... well, the window will close. Sawyer looks at Charlotte. Charlotte looks back at him. Charlotte:

Today is January 1st, 2009. Sawyer gets an "oh crap" look on his face and the video continues: Daniel: ....oh yeah... I guess I should mention this... there is a possibility that its already open.... they needed it open just like we need it open, so I would imagine that someone on that island is working for them. I don't know who or how, but yeah... yeah, in fact.... there has to be someone on that island who needs to open that door for them. I suggest you find out who and well... kill them or something. They aren't your friend. Well, I guess that's it... if you do this and we succeed, I'll see you on January 1st. If not, well... well, uh... Charlotte... I've always kinda, um... had a thing for you... (in the background we hear Pierre shouting)... I got to go. Good luck, guys. The tape ends and Charlotte has a goofy smile on her face. Sawyer notices. Sawyer: All right, lovergirl... we have a job to do. Jin: Who... who's the bad guy? Charlotte: I'd say my uncle, but... he had his own plans... Sawyer: That doesn't matter right now... we got to find that door! Jin: 내가 어디 있는지 알고있다. 나는 그가 그것을 발견했을 때 사이드를 함께했다. Sawyer looks at Charlotte. Charlotte smiles and says: Charlotte: He said he knows where it is. He was with Sayid when he found it. Sawyer: Well, what are we waitin' for?! Let's roll! They all jump up and head out of the office. 20) INT. DOOR STATION. TOKYO,JAPAN. DAY. Daniel looks down at his watch then up at the rest of the group.

Daniel: It's time. They all start heading towards the large metal machine in the middle of the station. Their expressions are all of anxiousness and worry. Just then, out of Hanso's office, we see Hanso walking towards them with one hand over his missing eye. He does NOT look happy. In his hand we see a remote control. He holds it up as he looks at all of them and says: Hanso: You sons of bitches... if I'm not going, no one is. He starts to push the button on the remote as the flash sound begins... 21) ---FLASH--- INT. HOTEL. SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA. NIGHT. Sun is sitting at a table in the restaurant of the hotel. She says: Sun: This is so bad, it has to stop... we can't keep doing this. The camera pans across the table and sitting across from her is Jae Lee, the man she cheated on Jin with. Jae Lee: Sun... please. I love you. Let's go forth with tonight... and if in the morning you don't change your mind, then you can go. Sun looks doubtful, but then, out of the corner of her eye she spots her parents sitting across the room. She quickly turns and puts her hand up blocking her face from them. In the background we can see the hitman that Jin was scoping out sitting at a table. Sun looks at Jae Lee and grabs his hand. Sun: We have to leave... now! Sun grabs Jae Lee and they sneakily exit the seating area and run towards the elevators. Just then, Mr. and Mrs. Paik get up from their table and we see Jin turn around the column so they don't see him. As he does this, Sun and Jae Lee run past him barely missing him and they jump on an elevator. The scene cuts to the upstairs hall where Sun and Jae Lee enter room #1523 and shut the door. The camera shows the hitman walk down the hall towards the room. Inside the room Sun runs to the bed and flings herself down on it giggling. Sun: That was too close!!!

Jae Lee smiles and he goes over and kisses Sun passionately. Outside the room you can hear a commotion going on. Sun lifts her head up towards the door to look, but Jae Lee pushes her back down. The commotion outside is Jin fighting the hitman. Again, we hear noise from outside. Sun looks up again. Sun: Please, go see what that is. Jae Lee looks agitated, but he goes to the door, opens it and looks out. He barely misses Jin pulling the hitman onto the elevator and Jae Lee goes back inside. Before he does, he looks down and he sees a gun sitting in the middle of the hall. He looks around and grabs it just as Mr. and Mrs. Paik are getting off the elevator and right before Jin pokes his head out from the stairwell. Jae Lee takes the gun and puts it into the closet without Sun seeing. Just then, Mr. and Mrs. Paik walk past the room to their room. Mr. Paik stops and looks inside Sun's hotel room, which is the very same hotel room he invaded in 3.2, "The Glass Ballerina" (this is how Mr. Paik knew about Sun's affair), and he sees her sitting on the bed, then he sees Jae Lee putting something into the closet. Jae Lee turns and Mr. Paik moves forward. Without realizing Jin just saved their lives (and without Jin realizing it was their lives he was saving), Jae Lee closes the door as the flash sound begins... 22) --END OF FLASH-- INT. DOOR STATION. TOKYO,JAPAN. DAY. As the flash sound ends, Sun reaches down into Hurley's waistband and quickly pulls out the gun. She aims it at Hanso and pulls the trigger! BANG! Hanso drops the remote control device that he planned on somehow using to stop them, and falls to the floor, dead. Sun drops the gun to the floor as the rest of them all look at her a bit shocked she did that. Very determined, Sun looks at the rest of them and says: Sun: Let's go. ----commercial---23) EXT. JUNGLE. NIGHT. Charlotte, Jin and Sawyer are running through the jungle with Jin in the lead as the fast music is playing. Suddenly, Jin just stops and turns around. Sawyer and Charlotte stop as well and look at Jin. Charlotte: Why'd you stop?! Jin: We're being followed. Sawyer turns around as there is a crack from a branch coming from behind them. He raises his gun as someone comes out of the darkness. It is Harper. Sawyer lowers his gun and says: Sawyer:

What the... why were you sneaking? Harper: .....I have a confession. Charlotte: Oh my God... you're their bloody mole Daniel was telling us about?! Harper looks down. There is montage of events as she says this dialogue over the miniflashes: Harper sneaking away from Locke in 5.12 "Johnny B. Good," when they reach the Temple. Locke turns and she is gone. Then Harper is seen at the Black Rock hiding behind some crates inside as Widmore makes his way past her later in the same episode when he went to the captain's quarters to get what he needed to get. We then see Harper collecting dynamite and leaving the scene. Lastly, we see her hiding the dynamite near a tree in the jungle. During this sequence we hear Harper saying: Harper: I managed to sneak away from Locke when we got to the Temple. I knew that today was coming and I had to get away. So, I went to the Black Rock and took dynamite to blow the rock away from the Door. I thought it was the right thing to do, for the Dharma Initiative... Charlotte: How did you know you had to do it? Harper: During the Pythia Experiments when we gassed people to get them to see the future... like the drawing Locke found of him leaving the island... well, Sam Toomey also drew a picture of me blowing the rock away from the Door Station. He dated it January 1st, 2009. I contacted Hanso after he drew it and we made a deal that no matter what happened, I would blow the rock away from that door. As she says this, there is another mini-flash montage of Harper back in 1988 watching Sam Toomey draw the drawing. Then we see her in the Flame Station talking to Hanso on the phone. Lastly we see her filing the drawing away at the Orchid Station while Pierre watches. Sawyer, a bit pissed, looks at Harper and says: Sawyer: Why the hell are you tellin' us this? Harper:

I realized that, well... that would be the wrong thing to do. I swear, I didn't know that Hanso was going to kill you guys. I just knew the prophecy was to come true... and I think it does, so I have to blow that door open for this to work. Sawyer looks at Charlotte and Jin. Jin: A trick? Sawyer: I don't think so.... Charlotte: Fine, come on, but... one false move and I swear to you... Sawyer will shoot you in the head. Harper: Deal. The group takes off towards the Door with Jin in the lead. 24) INT. NUMBER STATION. NIGHT. Amelia is sitting with Rose as Rose comes out of another time-trip. Amelia sits back and puts her arm around Rose to comfort her. Rose, not pleased with this, quickly gets up. Amelia stands up next to Rose and says: Rose: You, lady... you are no friend of mine! Amelia: Rose, you don't understand... I had to knock you out... it was for your own good. Rose: You shot the poor man in the face! Amelia: Giovanni wasn't who you think he is, Rose. Rose: And neither are you.... Miles interjects between the two of them and says: Miles:

I've seen your flashes, Amelia... the Smoke Monster showed me everything about your past... Rose turns to Miles and looks at him like "what the hell you talkin'" about? Miles: Her name is not Amelia and she's not Amelia Earhart... Amelia smiles at Miles and politely says: Amelia: My boy, I never said I was... Rose: Then just who are you then... some sort of psycho? Miles: That would be too kind a description... Just then, the station begins to shake, this time, out of control and the ceiling begins to cave in! Miles grabs Rose and he starts towards the ladder. Everyone in the station is running towards the ladder and they all start climbing up in a hurry. The scene cuts to: 25) EXT. DECOY VILLAGE/DOOR STATION. NIGHT. Jin, Sawyer, Charlotte and Harper make it to the Door Station. They are all out of breath from running the entire way there, but Harper makes it to the tree-line where she carefully picks up the sticks of dynamite from the Black Rock. Sawyer follows and attempts to pick one up, but Harper stops him. Harper: No!!! You'll blow yourself up!!! Sawyer backs off and he lets Harper do the work. She gets to the metal doors, as we saw in 3.2 when Sayid opened them, and she places the dynamite slowly at each bottom corner. She backs up away from the dynamite and the door. Harper: Alright, everyone... stand back... Sawyer: How do you plan on lighting them? Harper: You'll see.

Harper bends down and picks up some rocks and the scene cuts to: 26) INT. DOOR STATION. TOKYO, JAPAN. DAY. Richard walks over to the machine in the center of the station. He turns it on and a loud humming sound begins. He looks at the paper he took out of Hanso's safe and he enters the information into the computer next to it. As he does this, Ben turns to Jack and says: Ben: If this doesn't work... there's no other way to save them. Jack: Look, it'll work. Daniel: Let's hope so. Richard finishes what he's doing and he pulls out the large key from the safe. Daniel looks down at his watch and says: Daniel: 2 minutes. Richard puts the key into the side of the machine and turns it. The machine lets out a super bright blast of white light that shoots across the room. The group all look at each other. Desmond looks down as the camera cuts to: 27) INT. ARROW STATION. In a great panic, everyone climbs up the ladder and into the Arrow Station. Rose turns back to help Miles up the ladder, but Amelia turns to her and says: Amelia: Get out of here, the whole place is gonna cave! I'll get him! Rose reluctantly turns and rushes out of the Arrow. Amelia reaches down into the ladder tunnel and puts her hand out to Miles. Miles grabs it and Amelia helps pull him upwards towards her. As she does this she bends down and gets right in his face. She whispers: Amelia: You should have kept your mouth shut, my boy. With that said, Amelia rips her hand away from Miles and kicks him in the head forcing him to fall back down into the Number Station!!! She slams the lid to the hatch closed and looks down through the window at the top. We can see Miles fall to the ground just in time for the roof to completely give in over him. The entire roof collapses and Miles is buried in a pile of rocks, crushed to death!!!

28) EXT. JUNGLE. NIGHT. With the music at full tilt, Juliet is running through the jungle after Goodwin, but she can't seem to catch up to him. She keeps running and running until she comes to a clearing. Once she reaches the clearing, she falls down on her stomach. She tilts her head up and she finally realizes where she is. She looks up at it: The giant 4-toed statue, glistening in the moonlight. She stares at it as the flash sound begins... 29) --FLASH-- INT. STAFF STATION. NIGHT. Juliet is running down the long hallway of the Staff Station and she reaches the lockers. She swings open the locker door and pulls the lever that opens the secret operating room. She runs over to the room and screams: Juliet: Ethan!!! Let's go!!! The camera cuts to Ethan and Harper as the wheel a very pregnant and a very sick Claire down the long hallway. They reach Juliet as they push Claire into the OR and manage to lift her up onto the table. They get Claire on the table and Ethan shoots a really worried and frantic look at Juliet. Ethan: She's going to be ok, isn't she?! Isn't she?! Damn it, Juliet!! Answer me!! Ethan grabs Juliet and he looks like a nutcase. Harper grabs Ethan and pushes him out of the room. Outside the room we see Harper sit Ethan down and say: Harper: Get ahold of yourself Ethan!! Ethan breaks down and starts to sob. Harper puts her arm around him. Ethan: It's just... she looks so much like her... Harper: I know, Ethan... but there was nothing we could do to save your wife or the baby... Ethan: I know... but I can't let that happen to Claire too, it can't happen again, Harper! Just then we hear Juliet in the background scream: Juliet: Get in here, now! Both of you!

Harper and Ethan run into the room. Juliet turns and looks at Harper with urgency: Juliet: I don't know if it will work... but... I need you to get the implant. Ethan: You mean... the holmium implant? Juliet: Yeah, it's a long shot, but... it's the only option we got. Harper: But, Juliet... you just finished that... it's never even been tested yet. Juliet: Just get me the damn implant!! Harper runs over to the medical cabinet and pulls out a case and runs back to Juliet. Juliet opens the case and there is an injection gun. She picks up the gun and takes a tiny implant out of a vile and loads it into the gun. Just as she does this, Claire begins to have convulsions. Juliet puts the gun to Claire's bare belly and pulls the trigger. They all wait for a moment and finally, Claire calms down. Juliet checks her pulse and puts a stethoscope up to Claire's belly. She turns around and looks at Ethan and Harper, who are now both smiling. Harper: You did it! You found a way to solve the pregnancy problem!! Juliet: Not quite... this was only meant for late term pregnancy... like Claire here... it wouldn't work for early term, I don't think. Juliet turns to Ethan and says: Juliet: I need you to get some of these materials and take them to the beach. Bury them near their camp in-case something goes wrong. This implant could potentially kill her later on. Ethan: Juliet, even if Claire dies... you saved him... you saved her baby! Juliet smiles and the flash sound begins... 30) ---END OF FLASH--- EXT. JUNGLE. NIGHT.

The POV is first person as someone makes their way through the jungle pushing branches out of the way and running. The "running" music builds as the POV/Camera reaches a clearing. The clearing is in-front of the DOOR where Harper is about to throw rocks at the dynamite. The POV/Camera watches as Harper whips a handful of rocks at the door. BANG!!! The dynamite explodes and the rock is blasted away from the door. As the pieces of rock fall away from the door, little beams of white light pour through the holes. Suddenly, the whole rock-wall falls leaving the white light to stream out of the doorframe! The camera cuts away from the POV and focuses on Harper, Jin, Sawyer and Charlotte. Sawyer turns and hugs Harper tight. Sawyer: You did it!!! Charlotte: They're coming!! Charlotte turns to Jin and hugs him. Jin is all smiles as he says: Jin: Sun! Sawyer, still hugging onto Harper, opens his eyes and looks over her shoulder. His expression suddenly changes from joy to shock as he looks at who the POV was. The camera does a full 180 and we see that the POV was Claire!!!! She doesn't look as good as she did when she appeared to people after she went off with Christian. She now looks totally disheveled with her hair complete frizzed out and a mess, her face all dirty and small cuts on her cheeks. She just stands there, looking very worn and exhausted. Sawyer: Claire?! They all turn to Claire as Claire finally speaks. Claire: Where's Jack?... I need to talk to Jack... (she now instantly goes to screaming) Where's Aaron?!?! Where's my BABAYYYY?!!? The camera focuses on Claire as she screams at the top of her lungs then cuts to: 31) INT. DOOR STATION. TOKYO, JAPAN. DAY. The group all makes their way towards the door/porthole. Suddenly, in the background, a group of DI Employees start coming out of everywhere and towards them. Desmond turns to the group and says: Desmond: Go! Now! I'll stay behind and keep them off!!

Hurley: But dude, you have to come! Queue dramatic music. Desmond: No, brotha, I don't... if I go, I'll die... Penny was my constant... she's dead now Hurley... Hurley looks down and he looks sad because it is partially his fault that Penny died. Desmond turns and picks up one of the automatic weapons and points them at the approaching DI. They back off. Desmond: Now go! Jack walks up to Desmond and puts his hand out. Desmond shakes it. Jack smiles and says: Jack: See you in another life then, brotha? Desmond: I wouldn't bet on it, brotha... Desmond smiles and turns back to the DI guys with his gun. Daniel says: Daniel: Shall we? With no words, and very dramatic music playing, Daniel and Kaname walk into the doorway and the light. Hurley turns and follows. Jack, holding Aaron, and Kate take eachothers hands and give each-other a smile and walk in. Sun, holding Ji Yeon, turns to walk in, but Richard stops her. Richard: She can't go. Sun: What?! Why?! Richard: Sun, you got pregnant with her on the island... if you go back with her... Sun:

What?! Richard: The consequences may lead to her death. Sun's expression turns to extreme sorrow as she looks at Ji-Yeon. She looks back up at Richard and says: Sun: Then, I'm not going either. Ben: They need you, Sun... if you don't go... Jin, and everyone else, will die. Sun now has tears streaming down her face. She looks into the light and then back down at Ji Yeon. Desmond turns to her and says: Desmond: Sun, go. I'll take her back to Korea, to your mother... Sun is sobbing as she looks down at Ji Yeon. Richard: Time is running out, Sun. Sun kisses Ji Yeon on the forehead and says: Sun: I love you... She hands Ji Yeon to Desmond and he takes her as he says: Desmond: Don't worry... I got her. Richard puts his arm around Sun and they walk into the light together as she looks back at Ji Yeon crying. They disappear into the light. Ben turns to Desmond and pulls out the remote control that Hanso had before Sun shot him. He puts it in Desmond's front shirt pocket and says: Ben: You know what to do. Ben turns and walks into the light. Desmond stands there, with Ji Yeon in one arm and the gun in the other. He walks out to the side of the station, points his gun at the Door

Machine and starts shooting the computers all around it. The Machine starts flashing purple/ red/orange light out and finally with a dull THUD, the light disappears and smoke rises from the structure. Desmond, still holding the gun, walks towards the elevator as he holds off the DI. He steps in and as the doors close he looks at Ji Yeon and says: Desmond: Let's go home. The doors completely shut and the camera goes black and......
