You cross three steel grate bridges which are slippery when wet. You pass through the centers of Red Bank, Little Silver, Rumson and Sea Bright. This is the flattest trip to Sandy Hook, the only serious climb is on Navesink Rd up to Rte 36. Water and bathrooms are in the Sandy Hook Park.
