Author Introduction: Born and raised in Chennai, Kamakshi graduated from the University of Georgia with a PhD in Pharmacology, and is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the University of Missouri. She loves to travel, her camera accompanying her always. She totally loves her recent acquisition, a Canon 40D digital SLR camera, and shoots with a Canon 28-135 or Canon 50mm F-1.8 lens. She enjoys photographing everyday scenes in India and also Indian festivals and dances. Contact:
