CONDITION OF ELEGIBILITY: - Candidates must be permanent or temporary regularly appointed Stenographers Grade ‘D’ or Grade III Stenographers of any of the Service mentioned above and satisfying the following conditions:(a) LENGTH OF SERVICE:- Must have rendered not less than 3 years approved and continuous service as Grade ‘D’ or Grade III Stenographers of the Service concerned as on 01.08.2009 (b) AGE:-Not more than 50 years as on 01.08.2009. Upper age limit is relaxable for SCs/ STs and certain other specified categories, as per Government orders in force. (c) STENOGRAPHY.TEST:- Unless exempted from passing the Commission the Stenography test for the purpose of confirmation or ‘continuance in Stenographers Grade ‘D’ or Grade III Stenographers of the concerned Cadre Authorities, the candidates should have passed Commission’s Stenography Test on or before the date of notification of this examination. ‘ 3. FEE:-No fee is payable for this examination. 4. Out of the above vacancies, 19 vacancies ( 6 current and 13 backlog) are reserved for Physically Challenged (Ph.Ch.) candidates having Locomotor Disability or Hearing Impairment. The above no. of reserved vacancies may vary in accordance with the Govt. Directives in this regard and in the event of any change in the number of vacancies on further assessment of actual requirement / joining of the current batch of candidates. In the case of Supervisor Trainee (Finance), since there is likely to be a fluctuation in the Unitwise distribution, the actual number of reserved vacancies will be arrived at the time of allocation. However, Reservation Directives for various categories will be strictly complied with (including applicable State-wise reservation). ABOUT TEST: The All India Test is scheduled on 12.04.2009 (Sunday). The test can be taken in Hindi or English.
